On deities and exaltation
Essentially, my lore revolves around a particular headcanon about the deities and their existence. Namely: they do not have true corporeal forms.
The deities are powerful creatures, but lean more towards spiritual beings than huge, immortal dragons. The forms that we know are common depictions of them, but may not be entirely correct. They're more of an ode to a commonly accepted image than they are truth. In reality, the deities are likely considered to be far more complex and should be able to alter their form. Being spiritual beings they have no need for a corporeal body.
Most rooms in the Bloodclaw’s lair were pretty barren but that was no problem at all, once a dragon choose a room The Designer (an arcane dragon with a pronounced interest for furniture) would decorate it as they liked, that included giant pools with fishes, small volcanoes, tall trees, whatever a dragon may dream of.
Some more nostalgic dragons would bring their material things with them, like their plush dolls or a familiar to live with.
Most hatchlings are encouraged to keep a familiar with them until they enter adulthood for company and protection. Most of them are also not allowed to keep the same familiar since they would get jealous and Lilith doesn't like hatchling's quarrels.
Nevertheless a lot of dragons, adult and hatchlings alike loved to hoard certain items like chess pieces, broken pots and urns, Kirye recently started to hoard combs and would never lend them to anyone but Shiryu.
Luckily every one of them agreed to clean and tidy their own room so the assassin went by the rule of "their room, their problem".
Not like he was the tidiest person, his own room was a mess, but as he always said, if he tripped on some strange rare artifact and broke his bones it would be his fault and his problem.
(Even though Evron was always there to check, he didn't want the reckless man to unleash some raging spirit or only the gods know what else, Nightbane was more than enough.)
My hc for snapper movement is still the hoppy hoppy thing But not frog like hopping, rabbit hopping Where it's more of a shuffle hop that I leap in the air
