FR Sales PSA

A lot of folks say that posts with links in them don’t show up in the tag, but what I’ve found is that some do and some don’t. It seems like the algorithm filters out certain word combinations, rather than links.

So far I have found that the following phrases will prevent your post from showing up in the tag (imagine the asterisks and slashes aren’t there):

L*mited T*me Off/er

Cl*ck H/ere to B/uy

I’m sure there are lots of others. If you remove these phrases, your post should show up in the tag, provided there isn’t some other thing the algorithm filters out.

And in case people aren’t aware, I believe your posts stop showing up in tag searches if you use that tag too much within a certain amount of time. How much is too much? I have no idea. What is the certain amount of time? Also no idea. So FR folks, space out your sales posts.

BEWARE AND REPORT THIS PHISHER ON FLIGHT RISING

There’s a phisher going around right now attempting to get people’s login information! Beware. Please report them. They go by the name DeltaB #322191 also may be accompanied by someone named Molle #317239.

Their first message:

They the said that I’d have to give them my login information because of some b.s. reason. lol

I told them no thanks, and then they started to get desperate claiming someone by the name Molle was someone they’d given money to. Obviously someone that they are accompanied by, or is their alt. account.

Again, told them no thanks and they haven’t responded back yet. I’ve reported them already. You should too.

fr suggestion: ""overpay"" artists in the forums

especially if you can afford to do so + like 99% of the artists undervalue their work. check out their wishlist and/or just add on some extra zeros!! it's worth it.

DST & FR

Just as an FYI - I don’t know how many people are aware of this, but California (where FR’s “headquarters” is located) voted recently to make Daylight Savings Time permanent. It still has a few more hoops to go through to actually be implemented (a congressional vote, blah blah bureaucracy) but there’s a chance it will happen before DST ends in the Fall and FR’s time might be permanently moved 1 hour foward.
