Investiture in Ice

On the final day of the sixth Starfall Celebration, the day determined in advance by the Priests of the Eleven together with the Wardens of the Fortress of Ends, Dame Talvi Winterdance undertook the rites through which she would become a Gaoler and, the transformation being completed, she would be initiated into the Order of Seekers and be given a new name. Normally it would be considered sacrilege to invoke the holy magics of one deity during the festival of another; but Sister Shmi assures us that the unusually cold yet cloudless autumn we’ve had so far can be considered a sign of the Arcanist’s permission to move forward with the ritual.

First Dame Talvi was stripped of her armor and other garments, and then with an incantation her glittering tattoos were made to vanish; the transformation, it seems, requires that the subject be rebuilt from the ground up. Then she proceeded into a deeper chamber of the temple, accompanied by Sister Chione, Master Healer Hortense, Wizard Majus, and a delegate from the Fortress. The Cragward Custodian who usually accompanies Talvi stood guard at the entrance, letting no one through.

Our group, FR aRtP is open for registration AND is hosting a raffle! Here’s some of the prizes that you have a chance of winning! Plus, all proceeds go straight to our group’s Gene Bank fund, and you can earn tickets without purchasing.

FR aRtP is an art-based roleplay group with monthly and bi-monthly events. This year we’re trying something new by introducing a wider variety of events instead of simply lining out prompts. We’ll dive more into plot within the next few months, so I encourage you all to join! All you have to do is register with a triple basic dragon and it’s smooth sailing from there.
