Another thing about Mairimashita! Iruma-Kun that I don’t have the words for how I feel exactly but leaves a bad taste in my mouth is how the Demon Ranking System is in Hebrew, I’m goy/not jewish but its bad to associate Demons with Jewish folk and that’s something I wish Mairuma hadn’t done

honestly one thing that has been bothering me in mairuma is this like push/more attention given to bloodline magic and abilities which yeah they are cool abilities but I miss the like regular magic that was introduced. I’m not super fond of like biologically determined abilities n stuff bc they leave a bad taste in my mouth.
I’m extremely sure Alice’s actual bloodline magic is love related and not fire related, with fire being smth his family is extremely good at so they are known for.
overall the series is still a huge comfort to me especially bc it’s a series of a kid getting saved from his abusive situation and placed in a loving environment n realizing how fucked up it was that he’s 14 and was struggling to survive n coping with what his parents did but theres small parts of the series that irk me or give me a bad taste.
I love iruma so much!! I love his grandpa and opera so much!!
