I might be a genius or just sleep deprived.
I remember “techno witchcraft” being a thing a few years ago. Is it still? If so, I think this could be a good method for it. (Someone else has probably thought of it already, but give me my moment.)
Way back in high school, I stumbled onto the concept of fractal art when trying to figure out a topic for one of my classes. I admit to not having a great understanding of it, but the basic idea is that you plug in some numbers and you get a cool piece of art that repeats itself as you zoom in.
To use this magically, use numbers related to the target and your goal. A birthday, a special date, today’s date, the date of an exam that’s coming up, birthdays of two or more people to strengthen their bond, the time on the clock, the number of minutes until you need your goal completed, the target’s name (A = 1, B = 2, etc)… so many things are numbers!
Then you can zoom into the picture to find a piece you like, then do whatever you want with the image. Set it as a background, print it out to hang it somewhere, give it to the target of your work, pin it to a poppet, etc.
Someone who’s more knowledgeable about math could do a lot with this, I’m sure, but as a layman even I can see there’s some potential here. The infinite repetition is powerful, I’m positive.
Anyway, these are the types of things that my brain comes up with at middle-of-the-night-o’clock, so I should try to get back to sleep. Please let me know what you all think of this!
To support @cosmic-witch using fractal art in her craft, I decided to turn some of my sigils into fractals!~ Anyone may use these as they feel fit.
In order left to right:
I am motivated to do work
I am energized for the day
I love myself
I will focus on the positive, not the negative
My school work will improve
I will have vivid dreams
I am calm and relaxed
Negativity be gone

I’m still trying to figure out fractals, what the numbers represent, etc. but here’s one of my tech magic experiments. I turned the letters of the target’s name and what I want for them into numbers and plugged it all in, so here’s what we got.

Let’s talk about homunculus gestalts.
homunculus gestalts are created when a humanoid or otherwise magically viable structure is charged with concentrated, purposeful magic. Whereas golems are just animated and then commanded, homunculus are like, magical robots, with the magic being coded to provide a certain mindset, logical reasoning, and simple basic sentience to do tasks golems are either too unwieldy to do or too coarse.
Because of this, homunculus are often used as personal magical assistants, often providing spells or sigils to their creators, like magic secretaries
Ironically enough, because of the modernization of magic, some homunculi are employed as actual secretaries, most people who talk to them would describe their speaking style as like speaking to an automated message, only more responsive.
it’s important to note, homunculi aren’t fully sentient, they’re basically a programmed construct meant to do more comprehensive tasks, there’s literally nothing in the world as sentient as a human, yet
I mentioned this before, how there’s certain magical rights groups that wants to ban the use of homunculi in the workplace, since homunculi are often used as artificial “scab labor”, and more often than not will be exploited in more dangerous work as disposable workers. Opponents to this view often cite how homunculus gestalts don’t feel true pain, and are as sentient as a computer program, but to appease these labor groups, most industrial homunculi are created to be as inhuman looking as possible, reinforcing the belief that homunculus gestalts are not truly alive. This technique is often seen as underhanded, but there does exist a double standard in most magical construct rights groups when it comes to how human the construct looks. Therefore, making a gestalt less human looking is usually enough to silence to the picketing.
I should write more about fractal magic soon, i keep forgetting to
