Also there are two very polite wasp nests under the back porch awning, one possibly a carpenter bee nest (and there was certainly a carpenter bee who would keep my company in my fishing-lure-carving phase recently, while I was carving sticks into lures), and a dragonfly hanging out around the garden. idea for a fanplane: old phyrexia hits it, establishes a small colony. they build up and kinda just exist for a while, pull a crusade, lose. they kinda stay down for a while, then at some point a praetor basically goes "aha! clearly the reason why that crusade failed is that the world wasn't ready! let's do that again!" and then loses again. (rebellion?)a revolution happens, it's a mess, reforms out the wazoo, and in the end phyrexia is just the world's oldest transhumanist movement that rarely causes problems.
Oh I really like this!! I yearn for a plane where Phyrexians are Just Some Guys. Also, love the fascists repeatedly taking Ls, as they should.
