[drawn throughout mid-April and May 2026] Also worth noting a lot of the interactions they have in these doodles aren't really part of the short film, they're more for me to get a feel for the characters' personalities. Many of these doodles ended up being refined and colored in here!
I want to tell you a small story! There was this one time a bear knocked over my trash can and when I went to clean up the mess there were some roaches enjoying the leftovers and I noticed a big wolf spider was among them! I think it was preparing to eat the most gutloaded cockroach of all time. (Here is a quick illustration of the scene)

I have never physically felt the fear of a bug until just now.
A lil' moth scuttled across my desk and onto my mouse as I was eating my oatmeal, so I picked it up and carried it outside in my closed hand. Lil guy tried so hard to fly out of my hand, and when I got outside and opened my hand, it just stayed on my index finger and it was shaking so much it was vibrating. I brought it to a tree in my yard and after about thirty seconds it flew off when I brought my hand off the tree.
I felt so bad for the funky lil' dude.

I was rewatching The Batman with my flatmate tonight, and heard a huge buzz all of a sudden diving into my right ear. I squealed.
Him : What is it?
Me : A mosquito the size of a truck descended on me!
Him : You don't have to talk in writer prose to me.
Me è_é : Dude this is how I speak, what do you want me to do?
Ah, and it was a big ass fly, not a mosquito. He killed it right over my corner of the couch and I can't find it anywhere é_è
