I'm almost trembling... After 3 sleepless months of the hardest work of my life, I can proudly say it: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 

Earned: 50,000 dollars, 2,000 FB followers, a suitcase filled with new skills, a greater understanding about myself and the world, and the greatest team I could ever imagine. I feel like I deserve a lot of hi5s and bubbly drinks tonight. We all do! 

I love my team so much it aches a little: Caleb Behn, Fiona Rayher, Damien Gillis, Daniel Conrad, Deighen Greene, Mercedes Grant, Sinead Keane, Melyssa Desilles-Rubino, Lindsay Jackson. And a big shout to Tara Mahoney, of Gen Why Media. You are magic. 

Also, I just want to say a big shout-out to my mom, Lillian, just cuz I love her so much and appreciate all the gifts she's given me, not the least being the strength to always stand up and speak out for what is right. 

On that note, this is not merely an exercise in ego... There are real lives, real lands and real water at stake. I stand with the Fort Nelson First Nation people and all others across the globe working to protect their land, water and way of life.
