It was so dark out tonight, even the moon seemed to be hiding. Almost as if it knew what was about to happen. A thick fog was steadily gathering as a storm brewed, still some distance away but approaching rapidly with the strong wind that blew through the streets. It sent a crumpled hamburger wrapper noisily across the road, near to where Talon now stood and he didn’t even flick a glance toward the sound. No, his gaze was focused on something far more interesting..
There was a man whom Talon had been hired to take care of, they had asked for him specifically because of his reputation for getting the job done with no questions asked. The trouble with this mission was that his target never left his abode, which was heavily secured with solid metal barred windows, video cameras, large baying dogs, high brick walls topped with barbed wire and mechanical locks on the doors.
A prison, not used anymore but now housed this man whom Talon was supposed to take out with a single, clean shot to the brain. If only there was some way to get inside without being noticed, or some way to get the man to come outside - just for a minute or two. Perhaps his rats could find a way in but could they flush the man out? Even just briefly so Talon could line up his shot?
He paused outside the immense building, waiting in the shadows but there were several buildings on the grounds. Which one would Julian Priest be inside of right now?
