Petitioning to make Chef!Tom a fucking idiot who forgets he has food on the stove bc he's too busy making out with Y/N. (Of course this would be a fancy dinner date at Tom's apartment or something bc we all know this man would probably never take Y/N out to dinner when "I'm much better at cooking than any other chef in this city love, tell me what you want for dinner and I'll cook it for you")

ooooh for the chef fic I’m more envisioning y/n and sam are the chefs, and tom is normal!tom who can’t cook (and therefore gets super inspired by his clever chef gf) but !!! I also like the vibes in this. cosy night in, he’s trying to show off his ~skills~, wouldn’t want to take her to a rival’s restaurant, so of course treats her to a romantic date night....just.......he gets distracted and absolutely burns his food. bit embarrassing when your gf is a chef. I’m obsessed with the idea of them trying to salvage the food together but ultimately having to scrap it, then them cooking something on the stove together. reader in front stirring the pot, tom standing behind arms around her chin on shoulder? kissing her cheek as he gushes about how perfect she is? yeah :’)

To capture the spark

Weeks at a time letting dates drift away, you inspire me to better myself but still I play.

And I dance in the night with the most high, and yet I sleep in the day with the sunshine.

Metaphorically speaking, just like diamonds shine forever; we became like the carats but we didn’t stick together.

Then in the clearest moments, that had my brain exploding; we back-tracked away until we never had a moment for us.

That’s just the way it happens, that’s how our dreams get broken.
