this one person has been my best/longest/closest/childhood/only actual friend for over half my life and i think it just finally ended between us. and im gonna feel so vulnerable and anxious and alone for a really long time about it but also this is the only person left that connects me to my past, so in a way its a chance to start over, if i want it to be? that was the only person who’s heard from me in years, and therefore the last person to know i even still exist. so its scary but i think i just received a chance at becoming a new person
