Frak imagines himself holding hands with Sora --- like properly, with their fingers intertwined --- and then he notices Arin holding her hand the next day, with their fingers all tangled up in each other, as if it's the most natural thing in the world. A force of habit they're not willing to break.
"Man, he beat me to it," he says to himself.
Frak wanting Sora to be the first one to run into his arms as he hugs her tightly, and then he sees her being the first one to run up to Arin and embracing him with full force, while he instinctively pulls her closer. Like they've done this a million times before.
"Bro, he beat me to it, again," he thinks.
Frak daydreaming about having long talks with Sora about things --- family, life, being Ninja --- after a tiring day, and then during sunset he catches Arin and Sora sitting by the fountain in the Monastery courtyard having a conversation about who knows what? Of course he doesn't know. He doesn't know Sora how Arin does, as much as he wants to be the one who knows her that well.
Frak groans internally, "Seriously? This guy is beating me to this!" And that guy is his best friend and his crush's best friend 🥀 What a dilemma...
