               ❛   this ship is beautiful. where i come from, we have books detailing the twelve colonies. kind of like a ---- a census, of sorts, where we catalog any signs of life from outside of the union. purely informational and VERY dated. they don’t know about the demise of the twelve colonies back home. that’s how old our information is. i apologize -- is this a sensitive subject?   ❜

     He takes a seat right beside her, intends to kick back a little. “Hey. How’s it goin.” He’s smiling, his attitude is over familiar - but there’s a weird, empty silence that follows. Cooper stares a little longer than necessary. Just wait; he’ll get it.
