The botanist Linnaeus had a wild idea one day: based on flower petals that open and close throughout the day, one could accurately predict the time. It's doubtful that Linnaeus ever made such a flower clock, but the idea has stuck for a while. Two centuries later, therefore, Jean Françaix used the idea of a flower clock in his work "L'horloge de flore". I hope you enjoy it.
