This week’s Females of Metal Friday is Francesca Mancini, from Senigallia, Italy. Guitarist for the bands Sudden Death (since 2020), Necrosy (since 2022) and Hand of Juno (since 2024).
Francesca is a graduate of classical guitar at the Pesaro Conservatory and is now also a teacher of classical and modern guitar.
Her range of talent is showcased between Sudden Death (death metal), Necrosy, an extreme metal band, and Hand of Juno, an alternative metal band.
She caught my attention after coming across a Hand of Juno video on YouTube. While researching this post, I discovered her original band Necrosy. Been enjoying listening to them while writing this post. Some very eerie, and dark old school metal right there!
Also listened to Sudden Death and found I’m liking them just as well.
So now out of one post, I have 3 bands to add to my (and hopefully your😉) listening enjoyment.
