Last fall I had the pleasure of photographing for the spring issue of The Key magazine Elyce Arons, the CEO of Frances Valentine @fvalentineny, the company she co-founded with her best friend Kate Spade. The plan was for her to handle the business side and Kate the creative. But Kate's tragic death changed that and now she's handling both sides of the business. This was one of those rare shoots where everything went great. Their offices were amazing, Elyce matched stylishly and was fantastic in front of the camera, and the light was nice. All that was needed was a big softlighter sometimes to push some directionality with it. It went so well we got 7 setups in 15 minutes. Swipe ⬅️ to see four of them.
