Anyways.

I'm gonna ramble about the lovely combination of ontokinesis (reality bending) and aphantasia now.

So.

Ontokinesis.

Simply put a use of energy to change fundamental rules of the universe. That's the literal damn definition.

But most of the time people also tied it in with IMAGINATION. The reality bender could change things to what they IMAGINED.

For me and what I remember, this meant being tied to mental visualization. You had to be able to visualize what you wanted to take effect.

Well. I had aphantasia. That's the actual INABILITY to visualize things internally. Definition: a cognitive condition that makes it difficult or impossible to voluntarily create visual mental images.

FROM MY EXPERIENCE YOU NEEDED TO CREATE VISUAL MENTAL IMAGES TO BE ABLE TO BEND REALITY.

YOU NEEDED TO VISUALIZE THE BEND FOR IT TO GO SMOOTHLY.

I couldn't do that. I could still bend reality, don't get me wrong. But it was always iffy, since I couldn't visualize it tended to not last or go the way I intended.

Often I had to say it out loud to force even a slight image to come to my head, and let's be honest, if you hear what they're planning it's not as disorienting. :/

It really fucked with my ability to use my ontokinesis, and to be honest; I'm impressed I was able to get what control I did.

It's kind of funny now to be honest. When I think about it and just look back, anyway.
