That awkwardly symbolic moment when you’re a dude in your underwear who thinks the Women’s March is cheering for you, but they’re actually cheering for Supergirl two fire escapes above

RIP Colbert Report 2005-2014
Last night marked the end of the news satire series The Colbert Report, Comedy Central's post-Daily Show send up of conservative talk shows. Stephen Colbert, the character that is, was already established on Daily Show. Now he got his moment in the spotlight. His interviews (sometimes with important people in the world of business and politics) were on the level of Sacha Baron Cohen where the subject didn't know it was a character interviewing him/her.
He was laugh-out loud funny and the show has had a great run! I'd like to give a shout out to my pals in the crew: Frank Lesser, who was a writer for Colbert Report from 2006-12; Jack Roche, who has been the tape operator on Colbert; and Mark Malkoff, who was the audience coordinator for Colbert for a few years.
Congrats on a great run! Looking forward to seeing Stephen Colbert out of character when he takes over for Letterman on Late Night next year!
If you quote anything I say, please attribute it to Frank Lesser's butthole. And the internet, where I got all these facts. [The internet] is basically humanity's butthole.
