"hope you find what you're looking for" is such an insane thing for frank to tell colt after you get out of the club without killing him. not least for the implied 'even if one way or another it clearly wasn't me' that's in there

#not quite forgiveness -- in a weird way it doesn't sound like there's anything TO really forgive here? frank mostly sounds confused #and hurt. but there not like a big grievance there other than 'hey man what the fuck???' (and then 'AND THEN YOU TRY TO KILL ME??)#'you've never done me wrong' and it doesn't really seem like he feels like he did anything to colt that'd warrant this either #but it is like. acceptance. some sort of release. the smallest feeling of catharsis on this hell island haha #deathloop #frank spicer #colt x frank #I think this line is part of the reason i read their relationship fairly generously/genuinely (full of problems as it obviously is lol)#that is like. a deep level of unselfish love to have for someone I think. Out of all the wonderfully toxic and fucked-up relationships in Deathloop, Frank and Colt's is just extra delicious (second only to Juliana and Colt of course)

The trust. The comfort. The death. The two sides of the same coin. The deep understanding. The betrayal. The yearning. The unrequited (or not??) feelings. The friendship. The violence. The forgiveness. The fact that they are simultaneously divorced yet they never were together. I am going RABID over these two -- please send help . . .
