ROUTINE.

since i just answered a thing about habits, i’ll make this one primarily about his routine.

i think what’s most important to take into consideration about frank’s routine is that he doesn’t have a solid one. he’s incredibly versatile with his routine just because there are so many factors to consider. where is he waking up? did he even go to sleep? is there a place for him to take care of his hygiene? does he have access to a laptop? is he driving some place? can he make himself food? does he have something he needs to that day?

i believe the ideal (morning) routine can be summed up in this one pic:

coffee, some food, beer (be eR???? mY BOI???? get that shit outta ur routine boi). in this context he’s waiting on some files to be decoded on his laptop, which i think plays a big role in his routine too (w/out micro and all). i believe he just wakes up, makes himself some breakfast and coffee and plans out his day from there. he’ll get on a laptop and see if he needs to track down some crime/looks up files for a mission or he’ll just listen to a police radio. then it kinda spirals from there.

although that’s kinda ideal, what i wanna stress is how this routine can go from calm like this to survivals instinct in a split second. he’s extremely versatile when it comes to his routine because he doesn’t have a solid one and honestly, doesn’t expect to. he still wakes up early in the morning from his army days, but other than that?? nothing has been stable since he came from the war. nothing’s permanent. (except for this man’s coffee lbr he needs it daily)

he’s a survival extremist. he’s been trained to survive in crazy situations.

in this, he’s just been buried in an avalanche and he has realized he’s stranded. his first instinct is to survive. to remember what he was taught and to make something out of that knowledge. he doesn’t complain or whine about his situation because he knows what he has to do in order to make it through this whole thing and that’s very important.

majority of the time his routine revolves around the resources he has, which is why he’s so flexible. considering that example above was an extreme, it shows you how he’s willing to do anything to survive. it shows you how he’s willing to mend his routine because he doesn’t have a stable one to begin with.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: AHHH I wish we had gotten to see a little bit of his backstory, or more time with him and qui gon
