Jump Rope: Our muses discussing their childhoods.
The two had bumped into each other by accident. While trying to decide on whether to buy banana or strawberry milk, Jimin heard a voice behind him. The female speaking to him had a familiar face and after thinking for a few seconds he could remember her name as well. "Jimin, right? I’m sorry, but I couldn’t not recognize you and since I’m a fan of BTS I just had to say hello.“ He bowed slightly a few times while uttering a greeting with a bright smile on his face. "Yes, I’m Jimin. What a surprise to see you here, noona.“ He rubbed the back of his head briefly as he felt slightly embarrassed for looking so ordinary and non idol-like on that Wednesday evening. He wanted to give a cool impression in front of such an attractive female, after all. Jieun smiled just as brightly, she did not even pay attention to Jimin’s looks other than thinking how he was looking as handsome as always.
"I just quickly came to grab something, I’m on my way back from practice.“ She stated. "I was practicing too.. I just came to buy some snacks. I’m going back to continue, though. But noona, which do you think is better, banana or strawberry milk?“ Jimin asked as he glanced at the shelf and then back at the female, his eyebrows raised. A warm expression appeared on her face. "Ah.. strawberry milk. I used to love that so much when I was little. I’d always make my mom buy it for me, and if she didn’t I’d get so upset.“ She laughed softly while thinking about her past. Jimin looked at her, feeling satisfied to have encountered a person with such a cute character. "Mm, I used to drink plenty of milk when I was smaller too. But then I had to start dieting and couldn’t really drink it as much as I’d like. I still shouldn’t, but sometimes I do. It’s my guilty pleasure.“ A chuckle flowed past his lips and he pressed his index finger on his mouth. "Don’t reveal my secret.“
Jimin offered to buy her milk as well, and she agreed to it just because she couldn’t say no to him. The two continued talking about their memories of when they were little even after they stepped out of the store. Jieun was charming and since Jimin didn’t really get to meet or talk to any girls, it made him happy to talk with her. They both felt at ease around each other, and it was as if there wouldn’t be an end to their conversation. The time kept flowing and after a great while they decided to get back on what they were doing, and said their goodbyes.
"It was nice to talk with you, Jimin. Don’t exhaust yourself, alright? Good night.“
"You as well. Have a good night! I hope we’ll see again soon.“
Jimin bowed and set her off with a wave and a wide grin. He turned his back to her, feeling less tired than before. Taking her words to heart, tonight he left a few hours earlier than originally planned. Just for her.
