With the studio door left ajar and all the windows thrown open, he turned the corner casually and tossed the lights on, noting everything was exactly how he had not left it an hour ago. The new scent of smoke overtook the room’s usual lacquer and linseed, a dangerous marriage that should never ever be. She was sitting there awaiting him with no sign of quick departure. All dressed down in simple white and denim, poised in the window with the laze of an old friend. He did not venture to express surprise. The freshly stretched canvases he held were stacked upon the couch and aside from the formidable politeness he carried, there lingered a palpable expression of antipathy at his brow. Though he was initially unwilling to say anything which might unreasonably set her cross, he knew sticking to the basics would be frowned upon. “No smoking in here Miss. Company rules.” a tap of his finger against the shop’s company-issued rule plaque. “A new task for me, I take it?”

She gave not one motion to suss out the wispy trail of smoke that gathered about her shoulders. “Pay is under your pillow.” Certainly the company check could have been filed away in his postbox like the other employees but her reasoning for the personal delivery were grey at best. “That sentiment is a little dated, is it not?” he spared no glances toward his bed nor the trail of gil she perfectly assembled to write out her name. He was use to her liberal dealing of his employment by now and worked to free his hair from the copper clip he’d hastily pinned it with.

“Yes.” she smiled thoughtfully, dropping down to further loiter “For old times sake?”

He failed to be amused and she thoroughly failed to  care.

Oh my gosh do I! While I don’t write it often unless the storyline fits the occasion [or my characters jus feelin like some straight up freaks right then, eeyooo], I do enjoy investigating how many ridiculous and exciting situations my little nerds can get into.

+Do you like writing angst? Why or why not?Just like the question above, it is all about storyline and what fits the moment/characters. While it isn’t always the case, I do tend to play character who downplay their hurt and emotions til they are alone - so it generally comes out through side writings. I’m not a big fan of angst just for angst’ sake. I’d rather it be built up and not forced, much like that good ol smutty smut.

♪♩♫ ONE song that best describes your muse.yea yea I know I knowww. It’s so not possible to pin-point one because characters are so vastly complex (as they rightly should be). However, I too will endeavor to pick one out for Frankhe and West.ANSWERS under the cut! <3

Frankhe’s music inspiration has a backwoods kind of vibe. Little haunting deep roots music here and there. His backstory, much like his home, is shrouded with heavy down pour. For him, currently? For 12 - Other Lives

West’s life  is’ Bo$$ed up business’ in the front and ‘tumultuous landslide of bullshit’ in the past.  She struggles on the downlow, as do most, and for her I’ll go with that side. (I’m obsessed with this song?)Me, Liquor, and God - Night Beds
