My solution for not being able to paint the other eyes is to only have one eye. I really like this one, but this is my only doll and I want to keep painting So bye bye blue eye

Frankie ooak repaint. Finally! Finished the first repaint I started. I battled with this one because the eyes kept pissing me off so eventually I decided on closed eyes but even that wasn't looking right. After some trial and error I finally settled on a look I'm mildly okay with. I mean I'm still not super happy but it got to a point where I wasn't going to waste another acetone covered q-tip and another coat of MSC to re-do it. In the future my repaints will have resin eyes I just need to perfect you know...cutting out the eye holes. So anyway here is Laphicet her name actually comes from a male character in a video game, not one I was playing but one I was watching, and I just really loved the name. Her stitches have been sanded off along with the "panties". Her bod is blushed with chalk pastel and her freckles and most of her details are done with watercolor pencils. She has water decal tattoos along with a few small ones I drew myself on her arms and knuckles. Her "hair" is a cute buzzed look I did with maroon flocking powder but the problem is that it tends to attract fuzz so I went with making a wig as well. The wig cap was made with cheese cloth and mod podge (might do a little DIY on this later) and the "hair" is 100% acrylic yarn. Originally she was going to have dreads but after the first weft I decided I liked how it looked as is so she will have a few baby dreads underneath. I used some jump rings to add a couple cute little accents to a braid in her hair. I may cut it a smidge shorter but other than that it'll stay the same. The only thing I haven't done yet is do a last seal on the eyes and use a gloss glaze on her lips. I have to find something cute to ship dolls in so when I find this she'll be ready to go and she will come bubble wrapped with her wig wrapped separate. She'll come with a stand and a little info card. More than likely she will come nude unless I decide to sew some panties and a little harness thing. In the future repaints will come with a little outfit or at the very least some little underwear I just gotta get the right material. So that's it. Be kind I know she's not perfect but she's the first I finished and I love her ^_^
