What I got vs what I repainted and resculpted

She's worthy of looking like the Wolf of Winterfell, Queen of the North. And she's finally besides Jon and the Sandor I repainted as well,

Shes here! My second doll repaint is finally done! The Laguna is the first repaint I did about 2 years ago it was fun to sit them side by side and see the difference!

Recently my sister gave me two curvy Barbies with limbs bit off by her dog. The blue haired one was actually originally bought by me and then gifted to her child so it was a little sad to see her ruined like this. The doll with tango facemold is extremely orange which is terrible because it is an interesting face with a potential.

I still have a lot to learn when it comes to repainting plus I took a long break from painting which clearly shows in the first pic. Tango doll has really bad lines overall. I messed up the irises and eyelashes look like sticks.

Neysa turned out better though her eyebrows are hmmm. I took the newest flower frills fashionista as a reference because it’s a lot different from her usual screening. I showed her next to my older repaint as a comparison (i’m really satisfied with the lip color on the va va violet; not sure if I could replicate it tbh).

Lastly, I repainted my favorite fashionista doll. I was surprised to see that she has molded eyelids. It’s such a nice face. I suspect we won’t see it again. I tried adding more details than I usually do. I wanted to give her a matte, slightly lighter lipstick but maybe i should have tried mixing a little red in... Anyway I’m kinda okay with how she turns out.

Finally got some wool to make wigs for my dolls, here’s my two successful ones, they’re not the best but they’ll do

i’m also thinking of adding gloss to these two’s eyes and lips

Monster High - Scarah Screams’ “Ghoul Fair” boots, with a Ghostbusters inspired repaint job!

It was a little tricky to get the logo perfectly round, wrapping around the left boot - but it was so much fun matching the green slime to the molded bubbly green on the bottom. :D

My solution for not being able to paint the other eyes is to only have one eye. I really like this one, but this is my only doll and I want to keep painting So bye bye blue eye

i haven’t tried repainting dolls in months and i wasn’t good at it to begin with. so i tried something simple with reduced number of lines to fuck up. i liked the result but you can see there’s much to be improved lol.

i really didn’t like her original round eyes and slightly shapeless lips so i finally repainted my holiday 2016 claudette. i’m quite bad at painting eyes, gotta work on that... somehow.
