Vision was not all that necessary for Shadow on this trip. Francis was hazy on the details since he had only had it relayed second hand from Scaramouche who was not paying attention in the first place. His understanding was that Freeze needed specimens from the artic area. Shadow could sense out the hibernating creatures and force them out to collect the samples. Since they usually hibernated in groups, a small herd would come out. Scaramouche could come into play at that point once he heard the critters scampering. Supposedly he had come as an early Aku gift to Shadow, to help almost halve the time of the expedition. He would not kill the creatures, would not damage the environment, and would even bring Francis along for some extra support for Freeze at the campsite! It sounded almost noble and if Francis had not been married to him by decades at this point, he might have entertained the notion.

Francis knew he was only doing it because Scaramouche enjoyed watching Shadow suffer.

To celebrate five years of being obsessed with Scaramouche (and for Franmouche Friday), I present to you my Franmouche latch hook. It is to date the largest I have completed, coming in at around 3.5 feet wide by 4.5 feet tall and 17,940 strands of yarn! I started the original design back in mid July 2021, in excel of course, and finished touching up last night. Next step is to actually turning it into a wall hanging.

I was browsing other latch hooks on Tumblr, and it seems like this is a common problem XD Plus, it’s a chance to introduce my Kit-Kats. I adopted them back in mid September 2021. The orange cat on the left is Krueger and he’ll be two in July. Perrserker is the tan and white cat on the right and he’s currently two and a half. They’re sweet boys, even if they do keep trying to eat my yarn.

Today marks exactly one year since I adopted Scaramouche as my evil robot child. Here’s a couple of bookmarks I drew at a fundraising event my work had at Barnes & Noble. Why wouldn’t an assassin and mercenary promote reading?

Bounty Hunting Break - Franmouche

I got a request for some fluffy Franmouche from @bratjedi (also go check out their cute drawing of them here). This was a lot of fun, although I did have to go hunt down a toothpick for the chest hair ...

It’s my Birthday today, and also my volunteer day, so I made myself a Birthday crown for kindergarten.

I have Scaramouche and Francis (credit to @bratjedi0 for everything regarding Francis. Also, check out their stuff on Franmouche here. The artwork is amazing!), Boomer Kuwanger (and the last picture is the background behind  Boomer Kuwanger. It turned out a lot cooler than I expected, but then I covered most of it with the Maverick symbol), Team Instinct, and some bug pokemon (the idea was cuter in my head, but look at that Caterpie and the rare long leg Shuckle ... and Joltik. I have failed you, my tiny electric bug).

'I’ll always come back, babe. I always come back.' It was only at the one-year mark since Francis had last seen the assassin that he suddenly realized that Scaramouche was not coming back. Francis breaks their sacred vow and goes looking for Scaramouche, finding more issues in the wake of Scaramouche's disappearance.
