She doesn’t have a well-developed sense of humor yet, but when she finally does, she’ll appreciate self-deprecation humor from herself, deadpan from everyone, and I think she’ll like sarcasm.

a lot of people like to ship mileven (which dont get my wrong i love them and think they’re so cute!) but eleven grew up in a government facility for her entire life. she has no concept of sexuality, she didn’t grow up with boys trying to hold her hand on the playground, she doesn’t know anything about childhood crushes or cooties, she doesn’t know ANY of that, so i think she’s highly stunted in that area of growth that children experience (the social aspect of it) and in my canon mike kissing her was really weird and uncomfortable for her ( why wouldn’t it be, she’s never experienced anything like that ) and i dont think she knows what it means or why he did it. she didn’t understand why you couldn’t take your sister to a dance because she doesn’t have any concept of family structures vs social structures. she doesn’t get it, and in my canon she views everyone who treats her well and is nice to her as “good” or a “friend” and everyone who is mean to her as “bad” or an “enemy”. at this point thinking about dating someone or being someones girlfriend or kissing someone and figuring all of that out is just about the furthest thing from her mind. ( she doesnt even know who she likes or how she feels about liking someone like that because she’s never had to deal with those feelings/never considered it ) she loves mike as a friend, (i use the term love lightly seeing as she doesn’t know the concept of love very well) and while he’s a stronger friend than dustin or lucas or will because they’ve spent more time together, she still views him as a best friend. she doesn’t know anything else.

tl;dr basically my canon eleven is asexual aromantic.
