If there was anyone who could relate to such a statement, it was Jack himself. One truly could not know exactly how suffocating loneliness could feel, especially when you couldn’t see any ‘light’ at the end of the proverbial tunnel. Jack knew; so his heart ached for the girl before.

“That doesn’t mean that it has to be all you know.” Blue eyes slowly glanced up from the ground, settling on his companion. “You have people - family - who care about you. What’s stopping you from embracing that?”
