These are the beautiful genderbends I have been working on. Might I say I am quite proud of how they turned out. They're all out of order for some reason, but hey. I think it's pretty self explanatory.

that was the best part of the whole movie
It's genuinely good cinematography. Good enough to drag me out of the stupor the military action put me in.
Just think what would have happened if Sam Raimi or Joss Whedon or Guillermo Del Toro did this movie.
Of course Del Toro might make the Transformers fairies instead of Cybertronians...

People care about what resonates with them. Being ongoing or over doesnt change that. People still talk and joke about The Lord of the rings ten years after they finished coming out, and that was true even before the hobbit movies were confirmed.
That's most definitely not true. Or at least not true in what I mean for Firefly and Star Wars. The Hobbit and LOTR still had an ever-present aspect of them, but they don't have the memes, the overt internet presence, and especially not the bitterness that's left over. There's a difference between something being present and resonating in a person/community and it being pushed forward so much in a community.
I get lots of Doctor Who and Homestuck on my dash because there's at least stuff to talk about, but I never want to hear about someone's personal betrayal over how excited they were to see Episode 1 again. At that point it's not about what resonates. it's being trapped in a moment.
That's my main thing about these fandoms. They're so tinted with unjustified entitlement that things didn't go their way. And they're still fighting battles that are good and done. Firefly is never coming back on and no one needs any more convincing that the prequels were that bad.

THERE ARE SIX. YOU CAN RECRUIT SIX DIFFERENT CHARACTERS.
I FINISHED FIRE EMBLEM THE OTHER NIGHT
DID YOU DO THE PARALOGUES THAT ONLY UNLOCK AFTER CHAPTER 25?
