Maybe even cut it too... <//////> Just comment on how pretty it is and making sure that it looks good, just for him and his eyes only.... I love Fred so much. He's so underrated and he comes from an underrated show to begin with.

You needed a new haircut, seriously you needed it, you didn’t like the hair you had now and wanted to start fresh, so you went to a new barber thinking that would help…
The bell of the seemingly empty shop rung loud like a gong you were excited, a new hair cut a fresh start you thought, looking through the catalog you realized most of the haircuts were out of date you were a bit confused but picked a random one thinking it would be best as you thought you heard a rustling noise you look up again to see a tall pasty man with blonde hair sticking to his head, it seemed as if he had been working hard on something in the back, he comes to the counter as you speak,
“Hello am here for a haircut an easy off the top not to crazy if that’s alright” you say happily, the man looks at you like he’s about to explode in excitement, “YES.. a haircut do you need?” He stumbles over his words a bit “I mean what type” he says his excitement not wavering “oh well I’ll take a uhhh.. number 5” you say smiling his excitement seems to be a bit contagious if not a little concerning.
He guides you to a silver chair with a rickety mirror in front of it, he then walks away to get what you think is scissors…
You think about how handsome you’ll look with your new hair cut and how happy you will be with it. As your thinking you feel a presence behind you, as you look up you see him the barber with something in his hand it seems like a cloth, and before you can react the man’s grabbing you pushing the cloth soaked in something on your face, you drift.. your vision going out in seconds.
You wake up this time you are not in the barber shop your on a bed a dingy dirty bed made up to look as if someone would ever sleep in it. You look up, you notice the walls are painted a dark blue color sloppily so.. you shuffle around and find yourself tied up you start to panic until you hear, the door screeching open.
“Hi dear you took such a nasty fall, are you feeling any better” the man coos at you, you don’t say anything your afraid… “oh my love, are you hungry?” he steps closer to you as you shrink away “come on now don’t do this” he says as he’s right next to you grabbing a chunk of your hair “come on look at me baby, don’t do this…” he snarls forcefully pushing your head into his, he starts to rub his head on yours, “you need a haircut pretty boy” he states he licks your collar up to your face leaving you sticky and pushes you on the same dirty bed you start to wince and cry into yourself feeling powerless, all you wanted was a hair cut and now your trapped in some psychos basement.
A while later you hear shuffling upstairs, as he was gone you tried to pull the ropes to no avail, your weak as you hadn’t had anything to eat your tired as well going in and out of sleep feeling worse than worse, then you hear the door screeching open he walks down with scissors and food?, your confused as he sits next to you stroking your head “mhmm pretty boy, can you be good for me?” He states quizzically, as he sits down next to you, and sets the food near you on the floor, you want to fight back badly but you look down and see the food you hadn’t eaten for god knows how long with the way the room this man has got you in, looking at the food you lie you head to his lap in submission, the man seems pleased smiling insanely “is that yes” he hums, you whimper a bit feeling his hands in your hair as he grabs your head, forcing your face in the food “eat” “come eat… yeah… that’s it good boy, your doing so good” he moves your head up to his nose taking a sniff of your hair “oh god yes” you feel some of your hair ripping from your scalp before you know it the longer hairs in the back of your head have been ripped clean leaving tiny blood patches, “shit” he states frantically, as you start to moan and cry, trying to get out of the bonds he grabs you again “your going to be good and let me cut your hair boy” he smashes your face together with his in a kiss that taste like blood and makes you sick.
He then releases you grabbing the siccsors grabbing your head and cutting a chunk of your hair as he straightens himself and gets up holding the shred of hair near him grunting and moaning, he turns on the long dingy old light with a click as you look around food still on parts of your face you see your pictures on the wall, pictures of you outside, at your job, everywhere….
He grabs a tack and smashes your hair with it smushing it into the wall with a smile. “You know you’ve been such a good boy for me, how about I do that haircut of yours and you get a bonus reward” he waves his eyebrows at you, you on the other hand feel sick your breathing turning rapid and you feel as if your about to throw up the breakfast or lunch or whatever the suspicious man had decided to give you.
You grovel below him as he grabs on you touching every part of your body, feeling you up, “mhm” you moan “you like that” he states, “no!” You whimper-yell and spit into his face, he laughs and licks in off his face, grabbing yours and forcing your mouth open spitting into it and then kissing you, your tongue fighting for the last bit of dominance he then grabs your nose restricting your airway and then letting it go to feel your dick in your pants, releasing your mouth and stating “is this getting me how it’s getting you handsome” “fuck am so entertained, it just makes me want to do more than kissing” he grabs a fist full of your hair next pushing you down into the mattress, you feel next to your neck his mouth, him licking your hair, you feel disgusted and wrongly turned on, the next thing you hear is his belt buckle rustling and something slapping on your ass “no please” you grovel “shut it, be a good boy and take the dick and the fucking haircut and done with your shit you cocktease” he practically yells at you he at first starts to dry hump your hole through your clothing, but as he gets needier he starts to grab, ripping your pants off to display your sopping hole and erect dick, he pounces, without any prepping he pushes into you, you choke out a cry his erratic thrusting and moans “oh fuck I know you’d feel just like this, so soft and warm oh fuck shit dammit” he curses aimlessly, he takes his dick out and thrusts it back in your ass and his dick melding togther in some sick unification.
He pulls at your dick like a joystick “mhm want you to finish in my hand can you do that boy” he starts to jerk your dick off from the back of your ass laughing and moaning insanely. You feel your stomach turning that familiar sensation building up he rapidly smashes into you and mashes your dick into his hand until you cum dry and with a whine as he fills you up.
“That was perfect you’ve done so good” he pets your hair and leans down kissing it soothingly you cry and sniffle feeling sick again. “Next time i want to hear you call my name… Fred… ok… I know you’ll do it don’t you want to be good” he squeezes you a little the pain striking you “right” he chuckles “mhm hm” you sniffle breaking…
Could you do head cannons for this:(whomever you feel drawn most to write for!)
Out late at night the reader is on a bridge in town. A guy makes a pass at her and when she rejects him he gets upset and argues. She ends up being knocked over the edge of the bridge but a vampire happens to be nearby. Not only that but she's also his mate and he has to act fast in order to save her.(thinking he has to pull her out of the water and possibly do cpr up to you!) Please and thank you!!
Simple and Clean // Twilight x Reader Reactions.
A/N: I ended up picking a few characters for this, with small scenarios + a future flashforward sort of scene. Edward girlies let me know how I did for his bit, I'm trying to get some practice for his character and could use some feedback. I really love the mated at first sight headcanons so I'm adding something else: when you first touch your mate, you receive a vision of the future you'll have.
Also, I was listening to Simple and Clean for this and just, I dunno, you know the song version with the beat in the beginning?? I'm kind of seeing that as Y/N's heartbeat, everything in slow motion as he runs to her, the chorus playing as he pulls her into his arms.
"Hold me, whatever lies beyond this morning is a little later on. Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all. Nothing's like before."

You had always loved the night.
There was something almost magical about the darkness of the city at night, streetlights flickering sweetly through the shadows as though they were silent guardians, promising that all would be well.
And tonight, much to your delight, there was snow. It fell slowly from the black sky, like delicate stars drifting towards the earth just to tangled in your hair and melt upon kissing your face. So distracted by the beauty of it all, the nightly walk you often took became a wandering, feet bringing you towards the black bridge. Far below you heard the icy water crashing wildly, silver light reflected in the ebb and flow. But there was something else too...
A velvet whisper, something you could not catch.
The soft tinkling of a music box.
A faint light flashing from below.
The fall of quick footsteps, not far behind.
Turning back, you searched the darkness...and you saw nothing, the thrilling of your heart nothing more than your imagination. Until a voice called out. With a quick snap, you looked forward once more, a man appearing out of the darkness. He was handsome, all things considered, with chestnut hair in thick curls and deep green eyes. But there was something ugly hidden within those eyes, sensing it at once.
"Just going home," you said quickly, walking a little faster.
But he followed behind, asking question after question. Where did you live (around), did you have any plans (waiting for a friend, they were actually expecting you), did you have a boyfriend (yes, actually). Quickly, you pulled out your phone and began to call Bella, hoping that if you acted like you were waiting for her and this imaginary boyfriend, he might get scared away.
You never got the chance.
"You're really pretty," he said, reaching out towards your face.
On instinct, you slapped his hand away before he could caress your cheek, the action shocking you both. All at once the ugliness within became so much more real. his hand snapping around your wrist tightly.
"Fucking bitch!"
"Let me go!"
But he was faster and stronger, using your wrist to turn you around and pull you against his chest as you fought and screamed, cries echoing into the empty night. Kicking back between his legs, you kicked hard enough to get him to release you, falling to the concrete before stumbling to your feet and breaking into a run. So close to safety, the end of the bridge in sight...only for him to catch you once more and drag you back.
"Bit hot tempered, huh?" the man sneered as you struggled against him. "Maybe a swim can cool you down!"
"No!"
But it wasn't you that screamed like that as you were thrown off of the bridge, plunging into the darkness below.
He was running out of time.
Every second passed so quickly, sand falling from the hourglass with thunderous warning. It was Alice that had seen it all first, the visions in her head seeping into his mind. And without question, Edward had defied everything to save you, only a few clues to guide him to you once more. A brief glimpse of a street sign, a store he recognized, and the bridge...he'd walked it before and now you di the same, never knowing what was to come.
He was too late.
Screams broke through the air as Edward appeared suddenly from the darkness, watching as you plunged down.
"No!"
He moved, so quickly that neither you nor the man ever saw him. Leaping off of the bridge, Edward appeared before you like a vision...but he was real, a hand reaching out to take hold of your own. Puling you into his chest, Edward turned as you fell together, his back towards the water and ready to take the impact. He could handle that.
What he could not handle were the visions that burned in his mind, the wildfire of it burning him sweetly.
You...in a white dress, running though the forest with him. His laughter cutting through the summer air. A flash of gold as you looked back at him, smiling as though he were the sun...and a boy. You stopped together in front of a small boy with copper hair, hands clasped together as you looked down at the child. Edward whispered something, so faraway that he could not hear himself.
And the vision faded as Edward leaned low to kiss you, so happy at this picture of heaven.
~
A kiss.
That was all you could truly remember from that night, cold lips pressed gently into your own. The rest of it was no more than fantasies.
A sunny forest filled with laughter, a man with golden eyes...he loves you, that much you know.
He did not know what had pulled him to this place.
Not at first. But then again, he never did...Alistair simply felt the gentle pull of gravity and followed it. Wandering through the city, the discomfort was heavy...he had never liked crowded areas, never. Calming himself with the music box, Alistair spun the little handle as the tin box sang it's old song.
"Let me go!"
That voice...that was what he'd come for! He knew it at once, surging forward. From the top of the bridge, Alistair searched the shadows, finding you there as you fell. And, without question, he dropped, falling alongside you. A heartbeat...he followed it through the icy waters, the wild song leading him back you.
A hand took you own and the moment he did, the visions appeared like a light in the dark.
Stars...he was dancing beneath them, the music box still singing. And you were in his arms, eyes aglow was you danced and murmured sweet nothings. He was happy. And safe and loved, all of the things he thought would never be.
And he was kissing you, finding all he'd lost once more within this love.
~
A kiss.
That was all you could truly remember from that night, cold lips pressed gently into your own. The rest of it was no more than fantasies.
Dancing in the starlight as a song softly plays.
He just wanted to be left alone.
It was quiet here and safe, the kind of place he liked. The sunlight had earlier forced him to hide beneath the bridge, sitting on the banks of the river and watching the light dance upon the water. But it was curiosity that had caused him to stay, searching the waters and taking note of the creatures within. Coming upon a long forgotten flashlight, Fred picked it up and toyed with it, pale blue light filling the night.
And then he heard it. Screaming, fighting, a woman being dragged into the darkness.
"Maybe a swim can cool you down!"
She screamed as she fell and, as she appeared in the shadows, everything seemed so much slower...their eyes met, for one brief moment. And without thinking, Fred dove into the water after her. The wild river seemed determined to defy him, wanting her for itself. But Fred cut through it quickly, arms wrapped around her waist as he pulled her into his chest. Her hands moved wildly, touching his neck.
He felt it like starlight kissing his skin, warm for the first time...and he saw her.
He saw them both, naked as the ocean lapped at bare skin. Fred lay back, the moon in his eyes as she hovered over him, hands resting upon his bare chest and eyes aglow with inhuman light. Light shone up you both, silver and blue glowing across cold skin.
Gently, you confessed your love as you kissed him, happily ever after within your lips.
~
A kiss.
That was all you could truly remember from that night, cold lips pressed gently into your own. The rest of it was no more than fantasies.
The ocean lapping sweetly at your skin, constellations reflected within your lover's eyes.
He should not have come this far...or perhaps he should have gone farther.
Following you like this...God, what had he been thinking? He'd known about you, of course, Alice had told him decades ago. But he had promised himself that he would stay away in order to keep you safe. Turns out, that was harder then he'd expected.
Jasper had taken to watching over you and tonight had been no different, following behind as you wandered through the dark.
He should have stopped it then.
That was all he could think in this moment, that he should have moved faster, met you on the bridge and taken you away from everything. But it was far too late and he was falling into the dark waters, madly searching for you.
A hand.
Just briefly, a small hand broke through the river and reached into the air, pulled back quickly. But it was enough, Jasper diving as he rushed to save you. Taking hold of that same hand, he knew what was to come...what he had been avoiding for so, so long. But nothing had truly prepared him for it.
He felt the cold kiss of winter, almost sweet upon him.
Snow fell upon him as he walked through the darkness, coming across some sacred place. Footsteps slipped across the snow, thick clouds flying behind him as he ran home. A cottage tucked into the trees. And as light flooded the night, gentle and warm, you appeared before him, a hand reaching out.
He took it without question, pulling you into a kiss.
~
A kiss.
That was all you could truly remember from that night, cold lips pressed gently into your own. The rest of it was no more than fantasies.
Footsteps and snow fall, the snow tangled in blonde hair like silver upon gold.
He watched from afar as the ambulance took you away, dropping the stolen cell phone into the water. But there as no going back. Now that he'd finally found love, he could never let it go.
I have some headcanons about romantic yandere freaky Fred, since he's an interesting character to me.
-He'd probably be yandere by default, given that he's not exactly the perfect example of mental stability given his hair cutting compulsion lmao.
-He'd definitely cut his obsessions hair, no doubt about it. I imagine he wouldn't cut all of it off, just bits and pieces that he secretly keeps to himself, which he knows is very....naughty (see what I did there?)
-I struggle a lot with compulsive hair pulling due to my OCD (to the point where I suspect it may be actually trichotillomania at this point, my therapist even mentioned it at one point) and I imagine freaky Fred would be legitimately upset if he found out that this is something that you struggle with. His heart would break seeing you rip out chunks of your hair.
-He'd take any opportunity to be able to cut your hair if you're looking for a minor haircut, for him he gets to cut off some of your hair without having to keep it a secret and you get a haircut (I imagine he'd make it free of charge)
-Tbh I don't think he'd be all that different from his canon counterpart, he'd just have some more creepy tendencies, like the hair cutting. I imagine he'd smile just a little wider everytime you're around him, though.
White Swan // Twilight x Reader Reactions // Part One.
A/N: So on my wolf pack blog, I wrote Black Swan, a couple of reactions for the wolves imprinting on Bella’s ballet dancer sister (which later turned into a fic for Jacob) and a reader on Ao3 requested a vamp version with Garret, Alister, and Benjamin...and I’m throwing in Fred because I play favorites. Tell me if you’d like to see this with any others (maybe the Volturi??)!
I think this takes place in Eclipse, originally, with Y/N being saved by her angel...and later meeting him again in Breaking Dawn.
Pairings: Garret x Reader; Alistair x Reader; Benjamin x Reader; Fred x Reader.
Opposites.
From the moment you were born, it had been clear to all that knew you that, despite being twins, you and your sister Bella had little in common with one another.
Fire and ice, thorn and rose, sky and sea.
You were different yet meant to be together, two halves of the same whole. Like night and day, your mother often said. Never the same but never truly apart, two halves intertwined with one another in perfect harmony. Bella was the dark and lonely night. Soft and silent, always quiet and hiding within herself. There was a brightness to her, only seen by those willing to find it, true beauty found only inconstellations. Whereas you were the burning sun, bright and passionate. Unlike your silent sister, you were loud and always running off to chase a new adventure or dreaming the day away. When your mother put the both of you into ballet, Bella’s clumsiness kept her away from the stage. But you had blossomed as a dancer, as graceful as a swan ought to be.
Like Odette and Odile, sister swans.
But you loved one another nonetheless, tied to each other in a way only sisters could be. Before moving, you had been deeply connected and close to one another, all of that changing when you’d moved in with Charlie.
Forks had been another difference between the two of you. For as long as you could remember, you had lovedit there, believing that there was magic in the tree and beauty in the rainfall, like something straight out of a fairytale. You had even begged to visit Charlie more than once a year, going alone if you had too. Bella, too much like your mother in this regard, had hated it there and stopped coming eventually...but when she was the one who suggested moving to the small town, you ran away with her.
A part of you had hoped that you and Bella would grow even closer here but it was not to be.
Bella quickly fell in love with Edward Cullen and into her own little world, one where you were not wanted.
She loved you, yes, and you loved her...but now therespace between you that seemed to deepen every hour, Bella in her world and you in your own. Time and time again you had tried to be a part of it, only to be chased away. So you threw yourself into dancing, as you always had, finding a safe haven in the song and dance. There was a dance studio in Port Angeles that you took to quickly, practicing in the basement of your home (Charlie had turned it into a small studio of your own, ignoring the boxes of Christmas decorations in the far corner and the cobwebs). It seemed that with every day, Bella pushed you further and further away.
So you danced and you dreamed.
And in between, you tried to be a part of your sister’s world, even if she did wish for you to be. When Edward left her, you’d grown closer...for a time. Bella had clung to you the way she had when you were children and you’d thought that, perhaps, things were going to be different. But when he returned to Forks, she left again. And the door to her world was locked once more, left waiting and wondering if you would ever be a part of her life again.
So you danced and you dreamed a little more.
Bella had changed a little more overtime, suddenly softer towards you. It was, you thought, the nostalgia of the past and the uncertainty of the future. Soon you ‘d both be leaving and, despite everything, she would miss you.
Bella had taken towatching you dance again, sometimes in the basement (and she even danced a little with you, laughing as you tumbled to the concrete floor together). She and Edward had even attended a performance of yours, The Sleeping Beauty. She’d brought you white roses and walkedout with you hand in hand as you and Edward bickered about fairytales and love stories endlessly, you never saw eye to eye with him. But the separation still remained, growing deeper by the night and day...and when she invited you to La Push, you sensed then too that she did not truly want you tojoin her. So you said no.
“I’ll be fine, Bells,” you assured her sweetly. “Go on without me.”
You watched as she left, smiling sadly as the truck vanished from view. Wasshe right to run away and leave you behind? Maybe...and yet you still felt as though there was something pulling you towards her little world, some voice bidding you closer, as though promising you something lovely. Perhaps you were only dreaming again…
And you were dreaming still, walking alone through the forestas you half-listened to music on the iPod tucked into your jacket pocket.
Snap!
Above the music, you heard the breaking of a branch, turning quickly. Heart thundered in your chest as your eyes wandered through the twilight wood, searching for...for what? Oh, you were only being foolish again! Telling yourself thatyou’d been reading too many fairy tales, left imaginary beasts in the forest again, you scolded yourself for being so silly. And with the assurance thatthere was nothing wicked about, you turned back to the path...only to freeze.
A woman stood before you, some wild creature with fiery hair and cruel, bloody eyes. She smiled with a sharpness unlike anything else as you stumbled back suddenly, falling to the dirt path with a surprised cry.
“The wrong sister...” she muttered softly. “You’re so much alike that it’s hard to tell...but I think you’ll do just fine! The message is still the same after all, isn’t it?”
She lunged forward suddenly just as you managed to scramble to your shaking feet, the force of her knocking the breath from your lungs. Slammed into the mossy back of a tree, you screamed out in pain as she laughed, lips hovering over your neck with the cruelest kiss.
“One dead swanis as good as the other!”
But you were not to die tonight.
Before the beast could strike, something surged forward from the shadows and ripped her away from you, the woman hissing in rage as she was pinned to the ground. He was beautiful...as consciousness began to fail and darkness clouded your mind, all you could think of how lovely he was...moonlight broke through the shadowsand shone over him like some holy light, the angel something more of a dream.
He’d gotten himself into trouble again, hadn’t he?
Not that such a thing was anything new to him...and yet Garret could not help but smile as he looked down uponthe pretty mortal, surprised more than anything by the pullingin his heart.Mate.The word seemed so sweet upon his tongue, whispering it with such wonder. Mated...he’d known, of course, that some mate bonds are built over time and others in an instant. Picking the creature up from the forest floor, he could not help but marvel over the idea of it:
Love at first sight!
And what a lovely sight she was, Garret thought, keeping her close as he carried her through the forest. There was no way he would leave her there, not with that foul beast wandering. That must have been the trouble Carlisle had warned him about when he’d chased him off, begging him to leave Forks...and he’d been afraid the old man no longer enjoyed his company! Held tight against his chest, Garrett followed her scent closer to the little town of Fork until he found her home upon its quiet street.
Night had fallen and he remained unseen as he crept closer to the house...not the bedroom on the left, he decided, the scent similar but not right. It was the room on the left, with the silvery gray walls and lace curtains. Carefully the vampire came creeping, placing her upon the bed with gentle ease.
“Well, darling,” Garrett whispered softly. “Our first meeting may have been a little strange but stranger things have happened, haven’t they?”
He’d respect Carlisle's wishes, at least for now...he’d leave, as hard as it was to do.
But he’d never promised to stay away, Garrett knowing that he needed to watch over her. Leaning low, the vampire pressed a cold, soft kiss to the corner of her lips, smiling at the sound of soft, sleepy murmuring.
“I’ll return, darling, I promise.”
How foolish he had been!
But how could he be anything else? Spurred on by his own strange power, Alistair thought that he had come to Forks to find the Cullens for one reason or another. Never had he expected to find a mate...and a human one at that.
Why him?
That had been a haunting question for the last few centuries, suffering through one misery after another...but this was the worst one yet. Looking down at the poor creature,Alistair focused on the soft song of her heart and the tremble of her pulse, bathing softly in his embrace. She didn’t even know of the danger he had put her in just by finding her, did she? And yet...he had saved her.
For the first time in all of this cursed eternity, Alistair hadn’t been the monster in the darkness, he had been–
“Angel...”
Her voice was music to him and Alistair her a little tighter, marveling at the lovely little creature in his arms. Mate. It was a bittersweet thing to behold, Alistair still unsure of what to make of such a thing. And yet he could not leave her, holding her as he did with every second, and so they remained together in the forest as the hours passed gently...he would leave. That was what he promised himself, humming quietly.
If he left tonight and swore to never return then she’d be safe from monsters like him, wouldn’t she?
Stirring in his arms, Alistairrealizedthe end of this love had come, gently laying her in the grass as he slipped away, watching from afar. Just a dream...that was all he would ever be to her, he promised himself, vanishing into the darkness once more and swearing to never return.
It was a promise that could never be kept.
Was this what he had been promised?
All of his long life, Benjamin had been dreaming of the true love his coven leader shared. A mate was meant to be the most wondrous thing a vampire could claim and yet, he had been utterly alone. Until now.
Watching in wonder, Ben pulled the pretty thing into his arms, kissing her neck and face with cold, fluttering lips. A mate! Amun would be thrilled, he thought with a smile. And without another thought, he ran through the forest, looking for his coven leader, laughter echoing in the sunlight woods and glitter dappling across bronze skin.
“Amun!” he laughed. “Amun, come and see her!”
“See what, my boy?”
“My love...”
Amun found his adopted son in a clearing, half-hidden among the flowers as sunlight danced across his skin. She glittered beneath his light, the little mortal, and the vampire recognized her scent at once. The Swan girl...hadn’t Carlisle once mentioned a sister? At once, he understood the severity of the situation but Benjamin did not. The boy was too happy and already too in love to care about the ramifications of anything else, pushing the hair back from her peaceful face.
“Ben,” Amun began gently. “You know how Carlisle felt about our presence here and this girl, she is special to him. He will never allow it.”
“Why not? I saved her, Amun, she’d have died if it were not for me. Surely, they would understand.”
They wouldn’t, Amun knew that much. But...if the girl was gone. If she was no longer here to watch and worry over. He smiled at the thought, carefully whispering a plan. And as night fell over the little town, they carefully crept between the dark house, Ben still clutching his treasure to his heart protectively.
“All will be well, Benjamin. Trust me.”
“I do, it’s just...” Ben sighed, looking down upon her with the saddest smile. “I’ve waited so long for love and I have to leave her behind.”
“Just wait a little longer,” Amun assured him.
Well, he’d been waiting eternity already, hadn’t he? And so Benjamin crept into the Swan house and laid her upon the bed softly, tucking the quilt over her. In a mixture of English and Egyptian, he murmured the sweetest of things and poured kisses over her like honey.
“Dream of me! I will return to you...”
He needed to run.
Fred had only come this far for Bree and Diego, the two insisting that they needed to warn the Cullens of the impending danger. Had he known that something like this would happen, he never would have come here.
But he had.
He had come here and, what was worse, so had Victoria, tracking them down through the forest. And this poor girl had been caught up in one violent moment, Fred striking before he could make sense of anything. It was only now, as he hid with her in the darkness of the abandoned house they’d discovered, that it all came together.
Mate.
In truth, mating was still a mystery to him, the phenomenon seeming like something of love on heroin. But now, as he held her protectively, Fred found it to be...softer. Sweeter. And that was far more terrifying to him. If it was something wild and violent, then he could be scared of it and running would be far easier. But this...he hadn’t had something sweet in so long and it wasn’t until now that Fred realized how much he’d starved for it.
Diego was trying to convince him to stay. To be with her.
“Didn’t you hear Victoria?” he whispered. “Swan. She’s gotta be Bella’s sister, right? It all adds up.”
“No, it doesn’t,” Fred snapped. “She should get to be normal and safe and I...I can’t give her that. I can’t give her anything worth having.”
So he kissed her once and then he ran, never once looking back. And he tried to pretend that he hadn’t left his heart back there with her own, a hollow hurt forever lingering in his chest. When the hurting became too much, he ran again and even farther. But even as he tried to forget his lips burned with the memory of her touch and his heart still hoped for something so soft and sweet…
Perhaps he had only been a dream…
It was what you tried to convince yourself when you’d awoken, telling yourself that the angel had only been something your frightened mind had created in a moment of terror. And yet...you were alive, heart beating and lungs breathing, and that was some sort of proof to you.
He was real and he had saved you.
And you told no one of the angel, not even Bella, hiding the little piece of proof that you had. Your sister had her own secrets and you would have your own. Every night you dreamed of the angel, wishing that the moon would bring him to you again...but he never appeared within its silver light and you were left mourning a dream that never came true. When did everything change? When had Forks ceased to be the fairytale you’d once adored? Left in a despair you could not understand, you felt as though you had no other choice:
You ran.
Hiding far, far away, you did as you always had done, dancing and dreaming. The ballet became a hiding place of sorts, rising through the ranks as a glorious dancer. And Bella was more than happy to hear it, not just because your ballet dreams were coming true but because you were far, far away…
“I just think it’s safer for you,” Bella had whispered. “And that’s all I’ve ever wanted for you, something safe.”
Were you safe?
Dreams of angels were haunted by monsters, half-sweetness and half-terror,always seeing them lurking in the shadows...Even as you walked through the waking world, you were not safe and this time, you could not tell yourself that it was only a dream, unable to believe such pretty lies.
Music swelled as you danced and skin prickled with fear.
Within the shining silver mirror, a dark figure appeared behind you, approaching slowly as your heart thundered in your chest.
A/N: the moment I saw a request for dearest, darling Fred, I just about screamed with excitement! I used this chance to play around with his character/romantic relationship as practice for my fic for him.
Prompt: “You saved me. And I'm incredibly thankful for that.”

Fred had never, ever believed that eternity could be so sweet.
Could anyone truly blame him for that? His quiet little life, plain yet peaceful, had been ripped to shreds by such a selfish and violent creature and Fred was forced to fight in a war that was never his own. And the few friends he'd made along the way had all died, Fred coming to a dark, lonely conclusion:
He was alone.
And he feared that he always would be, trying to find some solace in a simple, secluded life.
Wandering around the states, Fred had eventually found himself on a little island, not far from some small, seaside town in the middle of nowhere. Here the skies were an perpetually pearl gray, sunlight so rarely touching the earth and rain so often falling from gentle clouds. Emerald green trees expanded into a wide, almost endless forest, mostly untouched, until it came to the black cliffs that overlooked the wild, raging sea. There were countless islands scattered along the coast and he'd taken to exploring them all, but only one was really his home.
Here, a long abandoned lighthouse had become the vampire's hiding place.
He'd been able to make repairs in secret, slowly making the lighthouse more comfortable, winds and rains banished. Soon, the few things he'd collected over time filled the tower...books, a little bed and a lantern to read beside. It was simple and sweet but you had made it so much sweeter.
It was strange, wasn't it?
So strange that at times Fred feared it couldn't be true, as though you might only be a hallucination produced by loneliness. But you were real, to his absolute wonder, huddled safely in his arms. Fred took solace in you, all of you, listening to your gentle breaths and heartbeat with such wonder.
Danger was on the horizon.
You both sensed the storm approaching, having barely escaped it the first time and now...now it was returning, wasn't it? But Fred wasn't running from anything, preparing to face it head on.
"I'm so sorry," you suddenly said, kissing his jaw softly.
"Love?" he questioned, looking down at you with such worry.
"I just...you only ever wanted to be safe. And you deserve that, after everything you've been through. I just feel like I messed everything up and I'm sorry, Fred."
He almost laughed, he was so baffled by the very thought of it...the fact that you were sorry! Did you not know how perfect you were? How happy you made him? Fred would have gone through it all again and even worse, if only it meant that he got to be with you...perhaps he had not made that clear enough, he considered, deciding to correct that right now.
"There's nothing you need to apologize for, love," Fred whispered softly. "My life before you was bleak and endless, I didn't think that I could ever be happy again but you...you saved me. And I'm incredibly thankful for that.”
There was nothing else to do but kiss you, the vampire smiling into your lips. He could do this forever, he thought, knowing nothing sweeter than the touch of your lips, a sugar touch of magic upon them.
You, he decided, were his eternity...and there was nothing he wouldn't do to keep his savior safe forevermore.
If the storm was coming, then he would brave with you by his side.
