The thought is pretty basic to be honest. Just, you know how Cain is the one imposing the censors on the circus? Yeah yeah, so like, he could probably control, to what level those censors are calibrated to, yeah?

With how inconsistent reactions to pain are in the circus I think it's fair to say Cain can also control how sensitive the guests are. Like Ragatha being generally fine in ep2 when there's a full spike through her chest but screams when Jax throws her in the fryer in ep4. You're Gonna get roughed up during a thrilling car chase, so you need to brush it off some to have Epic Moments tm. But with a more mundane close to life scenario like working a fast food job, things probably aren't going to get too wild, and having their pain tolerance be so high might be distracting

All this to say, Cain both has control over the censors, and the sensitivity of the guests :3

tenna has me by the throat so; food for thot. his antenna are sensitive so just... very gently/loosely twirling one of them around a finger, or just pulling the tip of one close to you with a finger before letting it go and sproing back into place toon/door stopper-style. going to kiss his screen and getting a static shock instead and jumping away from him all startled and hes just apologizing up and down and so embarrassed and then you laugh and he just. absolutely melts. and pull him back in by his TIEEEEEEE AND JSUT. GOD. WHEN HE SEES YOU TILT YOUR HEAD WHEN YOU GO TO GIVE HIM A KISS HIS HEART GETS ALL FLUTTERY NSHIT ADN jsut. you know the post about someone "conditioning" their boyfriend every time they put on a tieback. that but with him and tilting your head to the side. he thinks hes getting kisses every time you do it now, no matter the initial reason.
