5 AWESOME COLLEGE CAMPUS FLICKS

Apparently, college is supposed to be the best years of our lives. We're young, free, adults and yet we still don't have any "real" responsibilities beyond getting ourselves to class. So I thought why not compose list of some awesome college flicks that you can live vicariously through if you're out of college (me), or enjoy if you're in college (I wish this was me).

The Rules of Attraction

If this film doesn't personify college life then I don't know what does. It's got every college student archetype in this film, with a huge ensemble cast without sacrificing any major plot lines. Listen it's dark, sexy and truthful about college life. Yes, there are a few things that are blown out of proportion, but I won't get into hose because that would a spoiler. Deranged drug dealer, actually no... no, that's too far out the norm now is it?

Dead Man on Campus

This was Mark-Paul Gosselaar's desperate attempt to step away from his squick clean image he developed on Saved By the Bell. Dead Man is dark comedy about two slacker party animals who discover a unique claus at their university that will allow for them pass their classes if the room with some that commits suicide; thus, they embark on a journey of finding a suicidal room. That shit is just funny!

It's great film is truly about students find their people in college, only this film goes so far as creating a fictitious college to do so. Besides isn't that the best GIF?

Back to School

This film stars the late and great Rodney Dangerfield! If you're not familiar with is work, then get familiar with his work. Dangerfield has also starred in Little Nicky, Ladybugs, and Caddyshack to name a few. In the film Dangerfield plays an out of touch rich businessman, who goes back to school to assist his struggle son. It's funny. It's 80's. It's Dangerfield. See it.

Stomp the Yard

This film is uniquely niche in the since that it explore HBCU greek culture - love it! Regardless of the fact the film stars Columbus Short, I won't go into why he's super lame now, this film exposes black kids in college which is wonderful!
