I find it really hard to search for things on tumblr pages so I may as well ask instead; have you cut out / enhanced the banescale vista?

Now this is Bizarre.

See, I remember doing it? But I cannot find the post, either. So..... tumblr might have killed it or my brain fabricated the memory. I could have sworn someone requested I do them soon after they were released, cause I’d initially forgotten.

Things that have definitely changed in regards to bios and formatting, a list

(please help me out in figuring it out..!)

Bio Background Color has been changed from #eeeeee to #f8f8f8, which means...

All images relying on using the “color” to be transparent in nature are now wrong.

Specifically I’m thinking gifs, with which eeeeee was employed to keep the illusion of clean edges in a circle, and spacers, which used eeeeee to be locatable on a black screen, and now look... weird...

Bio dimensions have changed. On a basic level, definitely changed. With a vista as if a forum post, Very Very Changed. (I would appreciate help in figuring out how they work, now..! I now have been bequeathed a giant project of recoding all of my bio layouts to play nice again, and figuring out how it is spaced will make things a little bit nicer.)

This includes... Nextcol and Column tags. They no longer provide the same space boundaries..!

This includes overall width. It used to be 640px. I’m attempting now to figure out what the new width is and how to divide it up, because if that didn’t change, my bio layouts would have stayed close to functional. If it didn’t change, nextcol spacing Definitely Did.

No longer scrolls to the side when things overflow by being too wide. At least, not in mobile. This kind of also breaks my ability to tell when something is too wide. And also takes away the ability to have hidden surprises and notes via forced spacing by images, nextcol, and scrolling to the side.

I think that’s the gist of it tbh. Gotta go muck around until it makes sense again.

* * * Feel free to add to this your discoveries and tinkering because it will help me and everyone else figure out how to work with the new layout..! Especially in regards to when folks use a vista in tandem with the layout, that’s gonna be incredibly different.

Yeah... Don’t know what this is, but I like it? It turned out nice? It accomplished what I asked of it? Yay?
