So I was listening to some sports radio in the car today and they were talking about rick Porcello and how this is most likely his last year with the Red Sox, but despite the fact that he doesn’t seem to be anywhere on the priority list of contract extensions his mood/mindset for spring training isn’t any different than in the past and he’s been working so hard and with as much enthusiasm as ever. They just went on and on about how he’s just such a genuine and good person and GOD it made me so sad like I know we can’t keep him forever but it’s just gonna be so hard to see him go :’(

not sure if anyone remembers this exact moment so im sharing: for the second to last out of Rick’s one hitter last year he almost gave up a second hit but jbj made this phenomenal catch and robbed the batter of what probably would have been a double (dont remember who it was) but anyway nesn had a camera on rick while he watched

and that face makes me laugh my ASS off every time
