My dad keeps telling everyone he talks to that I phoned him today to ask how to turn off the smoke alarm because I set it off trying to fry an egg

Tomorrow’s sorting out the kitchen battle plan:

Put tonights dishes away

shove anything in front of the washing machine into it with any tea towels drifting around the kitchen, move the groceries there to the crate

Sort out Mum’s herb and tea corner, grabbing any visible ones from the other sides to include in it

Sort out the oils, sauces, and miscellaneous mystery substances counter, preferably discovering counter space

go through dumped grocery crate to sort out what’s in there in what food groups, just arrange in bags or something on the floor for now

sort out CD, grains, first aid kit counter, move cereal boxes over to here

see if water still gather in base of fridge - if so move condiments to drawers and label to tell mum thats to stop anything going off. might shut up that complaint next time, or just cause a fight. frankly don’t care

see if one of the drawers on cd counter can be a 1st aid drawer and the other for baking sheets, tin foil etc.

face food cupboards to attempt putting away the groceries instead of leaving them in the floor crate - check food labels. I don’t care if mum trusts sight- I trust throwing things away after they’re out of date.

arrange anything not fitted in onto microwave/boiler/dirty dishes countertops, leaving counter space (for any dirty dishes I make to wait)

See if anything down the sides of the oven might be rescued without feeling covered in grease

Yes this is likely to make my washing up each evening take longer correcting her messes, no I don’t care cause I want a kitchen that doesn’t feel like Mum’s trying to arrange our deaths.

Quick question, how, with those 2 aus, did the one that followed the plot the closest contain none of the characters from the barbie film, but the one that did literally forgot that the royals were either royal or had magic at all?

So this is everyone’s heads up, come December I am doing another treat calendar for myself, and it will all be artwork posted here.

What it won’t be is entirely sanders sides, possibly not even a majority sander sides, since the first 2 prompts I’ve come up with are definitely not

I went from a nightmare, where I read the game descriptions on horror game discs to running through a house from one of them, deliberately not looking at 2 of the people although I can still picture the mangled mess their faces were quite clearly

To after waking up, calming down, distracting myself

To a dream of owning a freaking mansion, except it was also like a massive library tons of the public were visiting, including a cafe area balcony that looked like a modern build style despite everything else being like Victorian, Tudor or Georgian, where for whatever reason a girl, possible called Alice, I went to school with was walking around with her work laptop and I was grabbing her to bring with me to my quiet study

I’m like 70% sure she’s an Alice. She does work at the same place as me and I see her pass quite often but never spoken to her since first spotting her in the office so I guess her presence in the dream has some sense

Except no, why not Flossy? Or anyone in my actual team? or that I’ve spoken to in the office? Or even just smiled and nodded at, like the cleaning ladies?

Also screw wanting that mansion, can I just have a home with convoluted ways of getting between rooms? that mansion had so many random staircases and levels you could only get between by going down 2 floors, up one and then through 3 other rooms. It was great

I’ve just gotten a new laptop, literally arrived this morning

A few times I’ve had to have password resets on different accounts but 1 I’ve never the I remember had to reset is AO3

Even today I logged into it first time when setting my laptop up.

Now I’ve just checked my emails and seen 3 alerts over the space of half an hour a few hours back of someone trying to reset my AO3 password.

I mean this seriously If ANYONE notices weird changes on my AO3 please DM me
