**for whoever needs to hear this**
water would drip from the shower
salt would drip from my eyes
steam would drip from the mirror
blood would drip from my thighs
now, water drips from the shower
but no salt stings my eyes
scars glint on both the inside and out
i know those thoughts were lies
this burden feels too heavy to carry
but know that my words are true
you are strong, brave, and beautiful,
and if i can realize that, so can you.
