//So heres a short little idea I had. I wanted to save it. I might expand apon it or add it to a fanfiction later. Idk. Everyone was gathered at Cardia Cathedral, the sun shining down on the marble and through the tall windows into the grand hall.
The room was dressed to the nines, red and purple drapery running down the pues and wild flowers dressing the front of the room. Freed and Laxus stood facing eachother. Bickslow stood to Laxus’ side, wearing his goofy grin but looking irregularly serious. Evergreen by Freed with nothing but admiration and pride in her eyes. The preacher went on, addressing the entire room telling them why they were all there. It had all been perfectly scripted, and Laxus could not care less. He was to buy looking at Freed, dressed in all black. It was true that the tuxedo didn’t look very out of place on him compared to his regular wear, but he looked radiant all the same. There was a new shine in his eyes, and a contained happiness that told Laxus he had been waiting for this moment for far too long. He leaned in with a smirk as Freed’s attention was on the speaking holy man, focused on joining them in matrimony.
“Do you remember when we almost destroyed everything?” Laxus asked lowly, to low to for the audience to hear.
Freed gave him a confused glance, but chose not to answer, his attention quickly fixing itself back on the minister.
“Do you remember when I almost hurt you in this room?” He persisted, glancing over to the door way. There was still a faint scar marking the ground that couldn't be completely repaired. “Oh shit...its still there.” He mused to himself.
Freed shushed him, refusing to look his way, his giddy smile now gone.
“Remember when you told me I couldn't lie to my magic? Ya know. When I tried to kill everyone?”
Freed looks over, eyes wide an exasperated expression contorting his features as the happiest moment of his life was being ruined by the loser he fell in love with.
Laxus only smirked.
“Remember when I was really fucked up? And you never gave up on me?” He asked.
Freed looked shocked, and his anger melted into the love he had always felt for his brutish dragon slayer.
“Do you Freed Justine, take Laxus Dreyar to be your lawfully wedded husband, through the good times and the bad? For as long as you both shall live?” The minister asked.
Freed smiled and nodded, looking into Laxus eyes.
“I do.” he answered firmly.
“And do you Lax-” was all could be said before Laxus grabbed Freed by his tie and jerked him into a rough kiss.
The script mage made no attempt to resist, only pressing closer. They soon parted but neither moved away from each other.
“I do too.” Laxus smiled, closing his eyes, resting his chin on the top of Freed’s head.
