- in any argument he's going to be loud and impulsive
- very much a case of he will be louder because in that moment he thinks he is right and needs you to know it
- he'll cut you off if you try to argue back and then you'll both need time to cool off
- making up is very much a moment of regret
- he will probably swear, apologise a few times, but then not want to dwell on it at all
- natsu is very much a person to make up for things physically by showing you his apology instead of telling you
Gray:
- he's defensive in arguments - very very defensive
- he will over explain himself
- and will clip back with sarcasm that stings
- afterwards it's an awkward apology, a mumble at best
- he hates arguing with you so he pushes himself for a better apology, a gesture of actions if he can't find the words
Laxus:
- avoidant king
- the argument is barely there because he doesn't say anything - or barely anything at all
- he remains calm whilst you stay annoyed
- and anything he does say sounds rational
- he walks away before he can say anything too much
- the makeup is physical 👀
- he can't apologise verbally to save his life but he lets you know in other ways
Gajeel:
- he says something harsher than intended
- then suddenly he's mad that you're mad
- interactions after are then harsh and clipped and there is major avoidance
- until eventually he asks if you're still mad
- you glare
- and that's the apology
- acknowledging that he's the one who caused the rift
Bickslow:
- joke gone too far
- either he doesn't stop or he pokes at something he really shouldn't have done
- or he's being incredibly fucking stubborn
- trying to talk through never works because he hasn't got a clue
- so when the penny drops he starts trying bribery as an apology
- any bribery
Freed:
- arguments are usually a major misunderstanding
- and only because in that moment you both can't see the other's side / it can't be verbalised
- they actually get resolved the fastest
- after butting heads, one will start to actually re-explain
- just changing words and taking time to explain helps settle any dispute
- hardly anyone actually think that the two of you argue because you just function

hiii life update i guess if anyone wants to read. i've been away major long and it was never the intention. its like august 2026 rn, and i think i was last properly updating last year which is crazy. so basic updates - i changed job start of this year. another store manager role but something entirely different to what im used to and i was kinda dumped in the deep end into a shit store and i've been fighting for my life since. in may, all of the uk renting laws changed so a load of landlords evicted tenants to save themselves - my husband and i included. we were so lucky to find a lovely apartment close to both of our stores which is great. so may - we got served notice, and was packing up our old place, and then my store was closing for a refit which takes a month to prep for so i was focused on that.
and then mid may my mum got diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. so that was a lot at once. i was the one looking after her and her cat after her first surgery in june and shes started her treatment now. she's reacting well but we've been told because of the type of it that there will be a time when the treatment won't work anymore. which is fantastic.
and work is rough because they won't let us spend overtime but all the stores need it and then we get yelled at because the shelves are empty but we cant get anyone in to fill them :)).
but on the upwards we got our own kitten. hes ginger and called colin robinson. he's my little boy and sits in front of the freezer because he likes the cold.
twink freed and bear laxus in all honour, but don't sleep on Broad Ass Fucker Laxus and Lean Muscly Freed, people next to them look like twigs automatically. they have a cake-off every day and it involves no baking iykwim
I want to make a laxus ita bag but there's so little laxus stuff I can afford and ship here tbh. Plus I cant find lightning shaped ita bags. I shall make my own perhaps. I'll share online if I figure it out!
Why does anyone not mention on the blindly trust that Gajeel gave to Natsu when they were fighting against Laxus
How he asked for one thing and Natsu gave him the move to help him give a blow onto Laxus
Gajeel had barely joined the guild to which doesn't show any trustworthy towards any members (other than knowing Juvia) and how he gave Natsu the single to which probably at that point started to build up that trust throughout the rest of the time of the series people do realize how deep this is right
No, no, some of you all don't understand and are trying to undermine what that Miraxus interaction meant.
Laxus, 1 year after his insurgency and very much still butthurt, stubborn, grumbly and proud, is letting Mirajane in on feeling like shit for his past, not just with few words, but by letting her in when he's sulking in his corner. Because she knows him. Because, to him, she obviously is safe. Mirajane is also not worried about overstepping, nor is she impatient with him, because she knows him well enough to find the right words to pull a smile from him.
Not only is Laxus smiling a rare sight itself, but that shit is emotional vulnerability for the Laxus of this timeline. 100 year quest Laxus is softer, he grew out of his hatred and redeemed himself, but the one from Re:Fantasia hasn't yet.
Maybe Mirajane isn't his final choice, maybe they are not endgame (though I doubt it but that's for another post), but as of now, she is safer than some other characters, she is someone familiar he's known for a while, and she's someone who will continuously enable him to be kind, open, and self-forgiving.
