Blessed with the opportunity to interview Jumpin' Johnny Wilson on his life's story as a former Harlem Globetrotter, Negro League baseball player, hometown hero of Anderson, IN, and most importantly -- an educator. Very grateful to be able to receive a portion of his 88 years of knowledge and wisdom; the man has literally seen the world change. Imagine having to sleep in separate quarters when traveling with your team simply because of the color of your skin. Imagine not being able to play ball at the school you wanted to go to (Indiana University) knowing that you could out play the whole squad, but the coach doesn't want any "colored boys" on his team. And through the mist of this.. Mr. Wilson never once got upset or lashed out in frustration even to this day; he continues to remain humble.
