@freedompersonified multiverse of madness ft. earth hopping
Steve was on a mission: he had to get the Steve from this earth and try to fix the mess the old man steve had made on his own earth. Steve hadn’t fully understood what Peter and Bruce attempted to explain a hundredth times already but he got enough to know that if they didn’t stop Strange and Wanda from the old steve earth things would get much worse for all earths. Apparently they had the wrong idea, they thought that whatever the old man Steve had done had splitted the universe into a multiverse but the people on Steve’s own earth knew better. They knew there were parallel earths, that time was linear and that by staying in the past that old steve asshole had triggered too many paradoxes but that they couldn’t be stopped by magic. And he also knew that Wanda was in pain--that Wanda was going through House of M, only, they didn’t have mutants on that earth, did they? Bruce wasn’t entirely sure of that but they had seen what happened when Strange pushed Wanda (his Wanda) to the edge and it wasn’t pretty. He couldn’t let that happen again, even if this Wanda wasn’t his Wanda. She was still a Wanda, a mom wanting her kids back. A person that had been through the ringer again and again.
So he was going to get this other Steve, who seemed to be functional enough to deal with all the shit he was about to throw at him.
He found the super buff blonde Steve in a coffee place, pretending to be lost in his drawing but he knew better than that. “So, hi. I’m gonna cut to the chase cos I know you know I followed you here and I really don’t wanna start with the wrong foot and get stabbed with that pencil you got there,” he started looking at the other guy. “My name is Steve. Rogers. Formerly Captain America. I’m from another earth and I’m here because Wanda needs your help. We all need your help.”
