It was when she was about 6 sweeps and she was still free. She and her mom would always dance together, and one day a much older violet blood came by. She was terrified, being only a fraction of the seadweller's height, but he was actually very nice, and danced with her. He even let her lead, which even with her mom had never happened. Afterwards they had a little tea party and the seadweller just played along and for her it was tons of fun because she actually had someone to talk to, and it looked like he was having fun as well. She doesn't know what happened to the seadweller, but she still remembers that day occasionally and smiles. (The seadweller was Desdeo's ancestor, and actually ended up getting killed because he apparently had 'no information' on his target to be culled.)

Vaneda...there's very little she remembers. A lot of it is painful, or blurred because of the sopor messing with her thinkpan. But the best one I could say  was recent. It was when Uacsec agreed to be her moirail. Her heart was beating out of her chest, and when he said yes she completely squealed and hugged her computer screen, it was the happiest she'd been in sweeps.
