A Prayer of Praise and Thanks

Father God, thank you that I am up this morning even though I did not sleep much last night and I have a mind to sit here giving you praise.  I praise you for the beauty of your sunrise.

I praise you for the quietness of the day and the coolness of the breeze coming through the window.

I praise you for the joy that I feel down in my soul just because I can speak to you today and know that you are there.

I praise you for the inspirations I’ve gotten this morning from your Word.  It is indeed most precious and sweet to me.

Father God, thank you for your peace for when others would try and drag me down through consultations that bind the soul and grieve the heart you yet lift me up when I need it.

Thank you for freedom to be who I am and who you meant to be.  I don’t have to be anyone else’s idea of what you called me to be, I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Thank you for all the many blessings you are bestowing on me today and everyday.  In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
