You come to me in dreams
When I am too far gone
To remember how to move
I lift my head
To feel the whisper of your breath
The sorrow of your death
You keep my untimely demise
Close to your heart
And breath a life into me
So powerful
I weep
I don’t not want this
To exist in a space
Between the living and the dead
Walking this body
To the ends of the earth
So that I might outlive you
In memory alone
And become the shapes of love
You never learned how to give
