#Fbf #freelancefriday I wrote this in 2010. I performed it in 2015 at the Smoking Room (or something like that) on the Southside during some poetry night. This is before I thought about marketing or sharing poetry on social media (b.c.- before copywriting). It's the title poem to my first poetry book. DAZE is the foundation to it all. Putting my myself out there as poet always seemed impossible. Mostly because I couldn't memorize my poems well enough to perform them. (Mainly because fears,anixety, and insecurities) I realized I write poetry to express myself and to keep my insanity. Not really to sell it but why not even if there isn't much of an audience. I rather stay behind the scenes (Thank God for Copywriting) and craft persuasive content that sells within a story. BUT I thought it'd be fun to wrap up my creative career with all the content I created over the years and work on producing physical products (3 poetry books, a novel, and a memior)( *5* creative projects) that basically I already started in college. BUT there's no money in creative writing so I canned them until I started a writing business which has nothing to do with poetry or fiction but I use elements of everything when crafting copy so long story short - I use the money I make from the creative stuff to invest into the creative projects. Same process for my business, Stupendous Copy. I'll eventually sell digital marketing/copywriting books and courses along with my services. * Starting with guides for SEO, Headlines, Copywriting, and Business Tools. *(it's the same process as the poetry - if you've been following me for awhile) RuDaStu.com turned into D.A.Z.E. and V.I.B.E.S. After Sunday, I'll only be selling Depicted Abstractions of a Zoned Ebony every now and then, so DM me before then if you want your signed copy. Don't mind me closing my eyes. I was trying my hardest to remember the words. 😂😂😂😂😂😂. And in my defense..my favorite poem to perform off out of this poetry book is "My Poetic Persona."
