thanks friend!!! <3 yeah her name's Chloe. she's my mentor's adopted daughter. you know the one, i talk about her all the time because she's never gonna have a tumblr and she's constantly being an idiot.  i actually took her out to dinner at Panera tonight because her 19th birthday is tomorrow! it was pretty alright.

I'm gonna answer more of number questions that freewi sent bc im bored 

83. Define a "friend" A friend is a person who chooses to love you. It doesn't matter why. What matters is that they are there for you not only for what your presence in their life does for them but because they are committed to being a good thing in yours.  The best kind of friend is willing to try and understand you, adjust to you, and sacrifice for you. And being a friend doesn't mean that you have to approve of everything they do, but to help them make themselves better. Oh, and also, not all friends have to be deep like that! Casual friends who are just there to laugh with you and make work/school better are also very important!!! 

93. What are you favorite books? I have a stack of my favorites that includes Life of Pi, Milkweed, Into the Wild (Warriors), The Dawn Treader (Narnia), and The Neverending Story. They are the best. 

104. How do you display your affection? HUUUUGS like 5% of my school friends actually appreciate it when i hug them it is the worst.

114. What should you never say, even in anger or frustration? dont say anything when youre angry. just shut your mouth. do not do it. do not tell lies or say things that will make someone afraid to speak honestly themselves. 

115. what would constitute a perfect day for you? i like really normal simple days spent with like just one close friend. maybe taking a walk in nice weather. like with Chloe or Megan, in the park or to the gas station or something. those days are good. 

116. What do you like to do in your spare time/on weekends? I play piano constantly on weekends. I like singing. I go on tumblr. I talk to whoever answers. Sometimes I draw with my tablet, but I haven't done much of that this year because i have been tired and unmotivated. I play guitar and sing to God. I pray a lot. I think about people I love and miss and cry late at night and pray even more. It's good. 

119. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil? No, nothing is black and white and everything is objective. And everything has multiple perspectives and we see almost none of them. That being said, the truth is uniform, and doesn't the Holy Spirit help us figure out when something is wrong? 

126. What were you like as a child? How would your parents or other people describe you as a child? Every adult was my best friend and i would not shut up. 

134. How do you think your family environment growing up has affected you as a person? I have a nuclear Christian family. I have literally no idea. Probably not horribly. 

135. If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor? I have a mentor! Her name is Laura. She's 52. She actually helped found my church when she was a collage kid! She is very friendly and thinks abstractedly, and really believes in me. She is weird and laughs at inappropriate times and her voice sounds like she is always singing. She's been mentoring me with my personal stuff and my Bible studies for five years. We are basically best friends. She almost died twice this past year and that is ridiculous. She adopted the person I call my sister. She is the best. 

136. Which of the seven cardinal sins do you embody the most? Probably chirping in the wrong key and pooping from the upper branches. 

137. If you offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? goo goo gah, goo gah googo.

4. What do you think about fans and fandoms?oh gee. I mean, I think the fact that so many people can have enjoyment of the same thing in common is great, and it’s great that they can talk about it and have their own community they’re encouraged to contribute to! As long as it doesn’t get toxic or dangerous. I know there are a lot of bad fans in every fandom, and honestly I think most stereotypes hold true for most fans of some series and… *coughcough superwholock* well, i just kind of find a certain obsessive kind of fan to be a little creepy. but i can deal. 

10. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?I would just tell them that the person is my friend, and that I feel uncomfortable. I just sort of go with strait up honesty like that. If they’re people I admire, I’m sure they’d know to stop, whether they judge me or not. 

16. What are your favorite movies?Spirited Away and Holes come to mind first. There’s others. I just saw the movie Dave in class and I enjoyed it. 

19. How important is music in your life?Listening to it? Meh, I can go without it for a day. But playing or singing it? Not an hour. I love singing with my friends. I love playing instruments with them. I love listening to others playing it. I love talking about playing it with other musicians. And I really love writing it, especially when it’s songs I write for God. I got to perform one at my church camp last year and it made people cry. I want to be a music therapist. 

20. Describe your dad in four words.1. He’s 2. Just 3. Like 4. Me. 

22. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who and why? God, duh. to protect me from the stuff that actually scares me. 1 John 4:4In anime and stuff, i always seem to identify more with the protector (Ichigo, Mikasa, ect) than the protected ones. hmm. 

31. Who are the people who have influenced you?My mentor, my parents, my teen leader, the summer intern from last year. My best friends over the years, including Megan, Alexa, Kaitlyn, and Josh. My perfect family away from home that consists of the girls i go to camp with every year who live spread out in cities across the Midwest. Ichigo Kurosaki because I’ve been watching bleach for 3 years and I can identify with his will. And Andrew Hussie. I’m serious.

49. How do you like affection displayed to you?GIVE. ME. HUUUGS. 

55. what is your greatest accomplishment so far?being a new person from who i was two years ago. i appreciate the way God has transformed me every single day.

Who are your closest friends and why are you close to them?Alexa because she was kind of the first person to really understand me, and although we haven’t been completely in sync the past, we’ve worked hard to be best friends over the past three years.Josh, because we started some weird conversation about Santa Claus and Narnia two years ago and I guess we didn’t really feel like stopping. We are still in the weird conversation. It never ends. Help me. Chloe as I said before was adopted by my mentor from the worst family situation possible. Although she and I didnt really relate or connect at first I decided I was going to love her so I did. Now she’s incredibly important to me. Protect her at all costs. There is also Megan harking back to the middle school days. Anyone who loved me at my darkest and stays is both crazy and important. And Cheryl who almost as young as you, but she is smarter than me and can basically read my mind. And her mom Lori (I became friends with her first funny story), and my mentor Laura, and Brianna and Ashley from camp, and a lot of other people. Also, I will never forget the close friends I used to have in the past. When I think of them, I can usually still feel close to them, in a way.

Think about all that you could do in your life. You think the world is full of horrible things and you're not worthy of love and you're not good enough? Well it's true. But you know what? It doesn't matter. Because Jesus loves you. He died for you. Really, He did. He saved you and you don't have to do this. You can trust Jesus and let Him take care of it. Pray, things will get better. You have so much to live for. Don't give up. God has such a beautiful, lovely, joyful, thought out plan for you.

I don’t really know what to think of this.. I’m not religious but even if I was I find the fact you just told me I’m not worthy of love or good enough kind of offensive.. I know you only meant well but.. I don’t know. I don’t think that’s a brilliant way to phrase what you’re trying to say ❤️
