i feel like the baby boomer generation in general have a hard time comprehending things to do with mental health and verbal abuse idk 

but just know it’s totally ok for you to stay away.Put you first, it’s ok and it’s not selfish it’s for your own mental health.  even if they guilt you, stay strong, you gotta do you for your own sake ya dig? at least, i know i struggle with guilt about not visiting but that’s cause it’s another thing my family’s good at pushing on me. I hope you’re feeling better and more confident and love yourself without that stress now though <3
