daughter of frank and gemma, astrid is a shy and bookish but confident girl. her gentle, loving nature has caused many people to question if she’s truly a legacy of mars, however as soon as she has a weapon in hand, the truth of her lineage becomes crystal clear. she much prefers to have a book in hand rather than a weapon, and on any given day she is likely to choose the company of a cat over that of any person, with the exception of her little brother who is always a welcome presence in her life.

okay i love frank and gemma so much they deserve each other in the best way possible, do you have anymore headcanons about them literally anything??

ahhhh thank you thank you thank you they’re so cute I’m obsessed 

Frank is impossibly nervous when he meets Gemma’s friends, he really wants to impress them as he knows how much they mean to Gemma, but she holds his hand the whole way through it and they end up adoring him (how could they not)

when they’re first dating, Frank again obviously wants to impress Gemma so he pretends he likes wine (cause duh a grown up, refined man would like wine and that’s the kind of guy Gemma obviously wants) except it only takes one sip for her to notice him wince so she slyly orders him a fruity drink and grabs his glass of wine for herself. “Don’t ever pretend to be someone you’re not for my benefit, okay? Frank Zhang is perfect as is.” He blushes. 

when they buy their house it’s a total fixer upper, and some of the best times they ever have together is the year they spend fixing the place up. Most people think it would put them under a lot of stress but they have so much fun together, and Frank marvels at how strong and skilled Gemma is. She lives for watching him shirtless with a tool belt. It’s a great time for all. 

I’m really into her also calling him Fai sometimes like his grandmother does 

Frank will work the odd shift at Gemma’s family book shop when her parents need someone to fill in and he looks so cute in the little apron that works as their uniform. 

going to New Rome to spend some weekends with old Legion friends! going on hikes through the surrounding hills. Frank showing off at the archery range. Spending an afternoon sitting under a tree Gemma planted when she was 14. Driving back to Gemma’s parents house to pick up their dogs (who Gemma calls the sixth cohort).
