This is a painting I did live at Fremont Abbey back in April and then sold! A dragon caught by a trail cam

I recently had the opportunity to do a live painting at the Fremont Abbey Round here in Seattle! It was a great experience and I can’t wait to do it again!

Using painters tape for artistic purposes (plus the added benefit of not really having to paint about 1/3rd of the canvas ha!)

This is the guy who eventually bought the piece! I asked him what he liked about it, seeing as I was never going to see my creation again. He responded perfectly, saying it was a great image of what he loves most about the PNW.

…Fremont Abbey has made such a contribution to this neighborhood. I’ve seen this little neighborhood changing, more people on the street, a little more sense of community to it. It’s not just a place people drive through, it’s like it’s a place where people want to be… but you know, arts does that. When a community wants to introduce you to who they are, they do it through arts.
