I just spent half an hour to decide which song of Degiheugi I was gong to share first. I’ve decided to share the one that I knew for the longest time, Le Temps Est Bon. He’s a french beatmaker that I love, because so far, I’ve failed in finding a mediocre track from him. To me, he’s so good that i’m losing myself in the whole work he did. 

The vocals are saying “Time is good, the sky is blue, I have two friends that are also my lovers”, a funny message that brings me joy somehow.

Qu’attendez Vous De Moi (What do you expect from me ?) is groovy and really spellbinding. That piano is smoothly arranged with the lascivious voice to give a jazzy flavour.

Kolkata will takes you down to some indian horizons without any effort, and it’s a thing that I love. The rythm is respected, and so are the vocals, it’s an ingenious mix of traditional music and modern beats, I can’t say no to this.

L’improvisation au Ukulélé turns more to the swing side of the force, with some chords played in a Django-Reinhardt way. It makes me dance :)

I Touch Your Lips is more emotional, in a simple but authentic way. I particularly enjoy the guitar (as usual), in chords but mainly in those beautiful arpeggios.

Un Jour De Printemps (A day of Spring) is the one that I’ve listened the most lately - I don’t really know why. 

And to finish that selection, two tracks that I find really, really chill to listen to in every occasion : The Good Feeling, such a smooth moment to pass when that tune hits your ears, and  Some Beat In My Head. The flute, guys. The saxo as well.
