fun fact about the Måneskin's song: the Italian song that goes to eurovision is usually the one which wins on the Sanremo Festival, so we all hear the original lyric. I'm sayng original because they had to change it this time - apparently it wasn't ''family-friendly'' enough. The lyric that they took to Sanremo said "vi conviene toccarvi i coglioni" (00:28 in the video) that has a swear in it, so they changed it in "vi conviene non fare più errori". translation: "you better not make any more mistakes" the eurovision version and "you better touch your balls" the original one. (that thing is a lot used in here, it's like.. you do that move when someone says something bad that will happen to you and the people... equipped with the thingy... just touch it. it's like "yeah, what about no? thank you very much" it's weird yes I am aware.. )

also my favorite song (out of the Måneskin's ones) is for your love, it makes me feel things :) (oh and, totally unrelated to the "and for you" tag, I would die for you ris, you're my favorite person in the world, thank you <3)

okayok okaokykoy i have been listening to them since forever (like two days ago) and akdjkjf they make me feel so many things and i cant understand the parts in italian (aka most) but by GOD its incredible!!! my fav song atm is "torna a casa" and i think it means "return home" or " (I'm) back home"??? I'll google it lol

Tbh I agree with France's policy of pushing French as an European lingua franca.

In the legal world French is already the most prominent language, and historically it has been our lingua Franca for hundreds of years. French is a direct descendant of Latin, the original European lingua franca, and large part of Europe already speaks it. Especially in the context of European institutions, there's NO REASON why our official documents should be in English, since UK is not even in the UE anymore. "But we all know English..." Yes, we all know English because of American and English cultural and political hegemony. They forced English on us and we told ourselves it was ok because UK was in Europe (even if UK has always been a very... hesitant member of the union). This is no longer the case, we no longer have excuses to keep using the language of Americans even in our institutions. Assez, je me tais.
