Ma serié préférée (aujourd'hui) est The Amazing Digital Circus! J'adore la serié parce qu'elle est très intéressante et amusante. J'aime la personnage Ragatha. Elle est gentille, timide et sportive. Elle fais du softball avec ses amis en temps de temps.
I had a lovely time practising French tonight at a casual language practising hangout. It was awesome to just be a language nerd with fellow language nerds--even being outclassed in language nerdiness!
People inevitibly ask me why I want to learn so many languages, why I'm drawn to that. There's the real reason, but I also want a cute answer that I can give easily.
And I think I found it: I want to learn how to summon cats in every language 😸

Hey guys! So I’m trying to practice my French so I figured I’d try to write a short little blurb for you all. I’ll put the English translations at the end. If my grammar is off I do apologise, languages are hard for me to learn but I simply adore French.
Subject: Hannibal Lecter
“Hannibal” elle a parlé, les mots incertains.
Il jeta un coup d’œil à la jeune fille, la regarder trembler. Il la regarda avec pitié.
“Utilise tes mots, mon amour” son ton était condescendant.
“Je t’actualise” elle a plaidé “S’il te plaît teins moi, Dr. Lecter.”
English:
“Hannibal.” She spoke, words uncertain.
He glanced over at the young girl, taking in her trembling form. He looked at her with pity.
“Use your words, My Love.” He condescended.
“I need you.” She pleaded. “Please hold me Dr. Lecter.”

I find one of the most difficult aspects of learning French as a foreign language is understanding spoken words in real time. Here are some resources to fix that!
(I have chosen resources that are available on YouTube and therefore free to everyone.) For the best learning experience, try not to watch with any subtitles ! If you are truly trying to better your listening, then just listen !
News Sources
I find News to be perfect for listening, because they annunciate clearly and do not use slang words without explaining them. Plus you can be well informed on the events that matter to you IN FRENCH !
